Very possible that once they'd worked it out and found how successful it was, they could do it with much less advance work. I guess they would have built up enough "experience" by then - ugh!

I could agree with that...Perhaps the southern shots could be on the fly as they are "really" familiar with the area. About 30 miles between Frederickburg and Ashland..that's the distance to my daughter's house.

I think they're holed up in Virginia near Fredericksburg.

What were the different sites (gas station ???etc) in Virginia??

It makes no sense that Moose should head it up just because it all started there, nor because most of them occurred in his county. There are now, I heard last night, 6 jurisdictions involved (I think that was the number). The feds should take over. One person last night (an FBI or former FBI guy) said they FBI should take it over because they have more experience, they won't be letting important info out to media (like what happened with the tarot card).

True, but I also thought that, since it's obvious they're listening to the media, they would wait until they found out about the condition of current victim

It's possible, anything's possible since we're all speculating based on unconfirmed, false and/or mis-information. But I don't believe they would've shot the kid where they did if they wanted him to survive. They could've aimed lower for instance.

Somebody said on another thread that he's such an effective stooge that he's being kept on to "buffer" the real LEO action from the media...
