Just reported. Took place outside of a Ponderosa Steakhouse. Not sure if it is related or not at this time. Police have shut down parts of I-95.
Had pumpkin ale here, at a micro-brewery that specializes in off beat concoctions. Pretty darned good, actually. Their wheat and honey-rye beers are good, too. Much better than a can of Iron City.
Yes, we ALL came here to get information, even those of us who do not live in Virginia. Since no further information has been forthcoming, the conversation turned to other topics. As for who is welcome here, well, that's just not your call, is it?
I'm applying for an "expert" rating, because I would speculate that "Two" were likely involved in the shooting ... the shooter and shootee.
When the enemy is either dead, or afraid to attack innocent Americans any more.
We didn't start this, they did...but we will finish it.
You are part of the problem...a large number of Americans who just won't face the fact that they have brought WAR...REAL WAR...to our soil.
You and the others have a law enforcement mentality for war...but it won't work.
I suppose it's not completely your fault that you can't see the truth of this. The politicians have cried wolf too many times with their wars on this or that or the other thing...thereby watering down the true meaning of the word.
But make no mistake, this is the real deal, with very real life and death consequences.
Our fellow American in VA tonight was a casualty of a cruel and unrelenting enemy...face the reality.
Location, the main thing is to get in, correct the worst of the tissue/organ damage, then stablize patient. Meds, BP, heart rate all have to be considered. If the patient had blood loss, they will not want to linger in O.R. untill they can get him out of immediate danger and stabilized.
Have a daughter that was cut from the front passenger side of vehicle that rolled over 8 times. They do what they can do--then stabilize. Her bone fractures and cuts/abrasions were not the priority. Keeping her alive was.
Sac
And thank goodness they do. Someone has to be vigilant about such things!
For the record, I was referring to modern warfare and a generation of weaklings produced by the liberal vietnam era hippies.
Then you should have said as much. We don't learn only from the recent past; lessons from 200, 1,000, 2,000 years ago are just as relevant today.
BTW if you think I should seek other employment I would urge you to swap jobs with me for a few weeks and see which one of us gets arrested for assault or gooes to the hospital because they got their butts kicked first. LOL
Nope, I'd never swap. I do volunteer at the school now and then, and wish you well. Teaching is a challenging profession, and I'm thankful that there are still a few Freepers taking on the task in such a liberal environment.
