It will not be simple or without some sacrifice to catch this guy or group. I just do NOT understand that kind of thinking, do you? Would these people rather we ALL die rather than do what HAS to be done to rid of us these people?

Al Qaeda never does something small....even when they're dead wrong, they sound so sure of themselves, don't they?
I suppose blowing up five people in a synagogue in Tunisia, or three people on a bus in the Phillipines is big time, spectacular stuff.
The sniper shootings have received more coverage than anything AQ has done since 9/11. Tell me again why it can't be them.

Here's a rule: if you don't give the cops consent to search your vehicle, that gives them probable cause to get a search warrant. They'll take you out of the vehicle, maybe put you in cuffs, put you in the back of a cop car and you can wait until they can roust a judge to sign said search warrant and get it back to you. Or you can open your trunk.

"It was a shame and disgrace they can take the time, money and trouble to tutor Senators on how to avoid getting shot while golfing and have NO FURTHER information to release to the rest of us."
You got that right. Somebody outta be tutoring them on how to pass bills out of committee and get them to the President's desk. Better use of their time than on the golf course.

There was some speculation last week that they knew the perp lived somewhere in Montgomery County.

Agree.

They are.

Ok, so let me get this straight: the guy is 60 -- no wait, 37, shot in the back -- no wait, in the abdomen, and there are witnesses -- who witnessed nothing -- and we have at least three different times at which the victim was shot... Almost, but not quite: you see, you have to add in they're looking for a "leased Chevy 2000 van, with Maryland plates," but not really, because they have no suspect or suspect van. LOGIC DICTATES, this must be the work of the sniper.

Red House, VA. It's an al Fuqra (former Black Muslim, now regular Islamic terrorist) compound. Is that in Orange County, Virginia?
To: nicmarlo
oh yeah. rita said it, utterly breathlessly. it was about 10 p.m. and it took fox about half an hour to unconfuse the situation. i thought she was a ditz then; i now believe she is a well-connected ditz. meaning that if she repeats exactly what she is told, the story advances. if she interprets what she is told, it's cartoon time.

Do you think that during WWII civil rights were more highly valued than defeating the enemy?
War is not without sacrifice. Our self-proclaimed Muslim enemies understand our weak points--and insistance that individual liberties supercede life itself and security in order to live is one of those weak points.
I am not saying civil liberties are unimportant. But our nation's founders would have laughed at the notion that my right to privacy can be basis to protect those who would take away those very liberties.

They are searching ALL cars, period.
To: Senator Pardek
Maybe this is the best they can do right now. FBI may have disrupted or spooked the other cells.
Maybe this is a freelance cell answering one of the many calls to strike at the infidels?

Chevy Chase Circle is not near a bridge, it's on the border of DC into MD, I believe on Connecticut Avenue.

"Oh good, it looks like the press conference will be at exactly the same time as McLame's big appearance on Saturday Night LIVE!"
Oh, what a shame. He'll probably pitch a little ol baby fit.
