MIAMI (AP) -- The federal government agreed Friday to provide monitors to watch for civil rights violations at the polls in several Florida counties during the Nov. 5 election.

Florida Secretary of State Jim Smith had asked for help from the Justice Department to prevent a repeat of the Sept. 10 primary, when some vote tallies were delayed for days and some polling places did not open on time.

This is a joke. Not a single shred of evidence exists of civil rights violations claimed by these people. However, there are plenty of other civil rights violations perpetrated by the very accusers: such as the attempt of Algore to steal the election in 2000, the nullifying of military votes, vote manufacturing and vote fraud.

Earlier this week, Miami-Dade officials decided to hire a group that monitors elections in developing democracies for corruption and error to watch the polls.

I can understand why idiot lib/dems who run these county elections would need this kind of oversight. But I want to know who will watch the watchers?

I think it's great! Someone will be in Florida to watch out for the Rainbow/PUSH, union, and other poll thugs.

Do you think that those Rat counties want ANYONE from the DOJ there? Civil rights violations are the public purpose, but I will bet that there are other things they will be looking for. I don't think the Rats are really happy with this development. HA!

We need the DOJ to watch the polls in MO, SD, MN, NJ, CA, and a few other states!

And another thing, what happens if problems are found? There appears to be no end to a permanent whinning society over elections in FL, but no one seems to want a solution.

If, for example, a polling place doesn't open on time, what are the steps to 1)see that it is opened by backup personnel within 15 minutes; 2) see that the individual who failed in their duty is immediately removed from their position and fined a few thousand bucks and; 3) see that it never happens again?

...I don't have a problem with this conidering that the RATS are out to get Jeb by any means....they consider it payback for 2000 and I have a feeling they just might do it.

Wait! Think about this - the Justice Dept. cannot go in there saying they are going to oversee the RAT fraudulant voters and union thugs. They have to make it sound fair and I think it will be fair. The President of the United States is not about to let his brother go down due to fraud.

Maybe the Indians should send a delegation to monitor the FLA elections, eh?

Well certainly, if the DOJ sees anything else that is fishy going on, they will take action. This serves a good purpose...

I would like the Justice Dept to station observers to catch the dead Demonrats who keep voting. Do they station them at the polling place or the graveyard?

Actually have the observers keep track of the number of voting machines in each county. That way maybe they won't find the machines in the trunks of cars, and five or six machines show up after all the votes are tallied in Broward, Miami Dade counties. Why do these things never occur in Counties controlled by the Pubbies?

"I don't think the Rats are really happy with this development. "

I agree. I'm happy, though; maybe it will keep all those pesky dead people out of the polling places.

You may have a point there. But in order to combat the fraud, the DOJ is going to have to be tough like they are in South Dakota.

They will have to be observant and firm. They cannot go in with a tough attitude, because it only enrages the democrats and causes even more trouble. However, going in as civil rights monitors leaves the Rats without any complaints.

What are they going to say, "No, we don't care about civil rights?" Nope, they are stuck with these observers.

The observers can do a whole lot by ostensibly protecting the rights of voters. This is a good thing, and it leaves the left with no complaints.
