Wonder how black conservatives feel about that?!

Not only did we have two separate threads on that yesterday, but I've got a piece on my site with my basic quote that sums the whole disgusting thing up...

"I guess Bill Clinton's officially more black than I am..."

"Legend of Mudboy Slim"
(To be sung to Charlie Daniels' Band's "Legend of Wooley Swamp")

Well, if you ever go back to the BonAir Swamp, well, you oughtta just do what's Right!!
There's things out there in the middle of them woods that make DemLib'rals cry from fright.
RATS still crawl and Med'yuh lies and Clinton sleeps around on the town...
And they say the ghost of Mudboy Slim gets up and he FReeps around.

Limbaugh couldn't believe it!! Boy just had to find out for hisself.
MattDrudge couldn't conceive it!! The dude never seemed to listen to nobody else.
Dubyuh couldn't believe it!! Dude just had to find out for hisself...
There's some things in this world you just can't explain.

[Spoken:]
Ol' Mudboy lived in the Virginny Swamp, back in his cave in the woods.
He never did do a lotta harm to the world, 'cuz he always tried doin' Good.
People didn't think too much of MUD...they all thought he acted funny.
Ol' Mudboy didn't care 'bout DemSheeple anyway...all he cared about was gettin' JUSTICE!!
He'd write it all down on FReeper threads and he'd bury it all around.
And on certain nights, if the moon was Right, he'd sing it out loud, with no sound...
Slim'd pour his heart out on the threads he called "Black!!" and run his vocals through it.
Yeah, Mudboy Slim was an orn'ry young man and that's all that there was to it!!

DemRINOs couldn't believe it. They just had to find out for themselves.
Med'yuh couldn't conceive'it...'cause DemRATS never would have listened to nobody else.
JimRob, sure, he [had sincere doubts]!! Jim just had to find out for hisself...
There's some things in this world you just can't explain.

[Spoken:]
DemClintons was white trash. They forced most of US FReeper's ta FReep.
They were mean as Butch Reno and sneaky as RATS and quite arrogant when they'd speak.
One night Ol' Slickboy Willie said, "Y'all meet me at Ol' Muddy's Cave later.
We'll take old Mudboy's Justice and we'll feed him to the Litigators."
They found Ol' Mudboy out in the back with a guitar in his hand,
Thirteen RightWing FReeper songs was just dug up out of the sand.
Then, T-Mac went crazy and he beat Ol' Mudboy, and Slick picked him up off of the ground.
Threw MUD in Left's Swamp and stood there and laughed as the Black water sucked him down.
Then they turned around and went back to MUD's shack and picked up MUD's Justice and ran.
Slick hadn't gone nowhere when they realized they were publicizing MUD's Band.
McAuliffe struggled and Slick squealed but they couldn't get away and just before they went under
They could hear Ol' Mudboy laughing and a voice say, "Fear Righteous Justice!!!"

And that's been fifty years ago and you can go by there yet.
There's a spot in the yard out back behind MUD's shack where the ground is always wet.
And on summer nights, if the moon is right down by that dark footpath,
You can hear Slick Willie sqeeeeeealin'. You can hear Ol' Mudboy laugh!!!

BWAHAHAHA...MUD

"...we have two separate threads on that yesterday..."

Would you be so kind as to bump me to those threads, my FRiend?! I'd like to link them to this thread, becuz I sincerely believe that the Right must work aggressively to decrease the RATS' share of the African-American vote from 90%+ to, say, 80% this year and 60% in 2004!! Black America must come to the realization that Republicans aren't the least bit anti-Black...it's just that we're anti-Lib'ral!!

"Bing has been trying to make a name for himself as a Hollywood screenwriter, producer, director, and actor, lending his talents to television's "Married With Children," Sylvester Stallone's "Get Carter," and the Chuck Norris "Missing in Action" trilogy. In 1993, he wrote and directed "Every Breath," starring his brat-pack friend Judd Nelson. The Internet Movie Database summarizes the thriller's plot: "An unemployed actor gets involved with a strange woman who hangs out in lesbian nightclubs and her rich arms dealer husband."

ROFLMAO!!! Did I ever tell you that the Consul (aka President) of my fraternity the year before I joined was Tom Shadyac, the producer of Eddie Murphy's "FatDude" Movies...for the longest time, he was a joke-writer for Johnny Carson, then Letterman fer awhile, but the guy's HollyWeird-savvy...he's got some GREAT stories about fellow UVA alumni Katie Couric...LOL!!

I ran into him the other day, and he claims not to be a Lefty Ideologue...

BTW...did I ever tell ya that the daddy in "Married with Children" used to hang out in "Duck, NC" and partied at my buddy's bar ALL THE TIME?!!!

Pays to know folks...MUD

MUD, you have a gifted talent for crafting prose. I've always delighted in your work.

Can you sit down without the music and create a song?

That's the next step.

Lyric writers are GOLDEN!!!! Seriously, any knuckle dragging nitwit with lots of time to kill and a guitar in hand can invent a smart chord ditty.

Nobody can write compelling words, and nobody can sing with soul and charisma. That's the ticket in the music biz .... voice and story.

Think of the great songwriters ... "The screen door slams ... Mary's dress waves. Like a vision she dances across the floor while the radio plays ..." I'll bet it took Springsteen three weeks, on and off, to find that opening volley ... he had Bittans piano and the Thunder Road bombast set, but the start was crucial and elusive. Bob Seger used to change his first stanza repeatedly in the studio ... it's knowing how to start, and knowing when to end. Dickens had it.

Bernie Taupin used to write lyrics and mail them across England to Elton John. Think of this construct .... "It's getting late, have you seen my mates? Ma tell me when the boys get here ... it's seven o'clock and I want to rock, gonna get a belly full of beer."

What presentation did he imagine when he wrote that? Or any of that Goodbye Yellow Brick Road stuff? What did he think when he heard the musical delivery? I'm amazed by Taupins talent, he's like a cockney Shel Silversteen. All the young girls love Alice you say? LOL

Elton John has said from day one it's far easier for him to put music to words than for him to craft lyrics to his melodic inventions. I agree. Country singers work on lyrics, jazz guys on the tune. Each struggles mightally when faced with a blank sheet of paper. Vince Gill has 50 sweet intros in his arsenal, but none of them work till the yak meets the music. What a daunting career.

I like Warren Zevon, Dave Alvin, Donald Fagan, Nick Lowe, Mark Knopfler and Don Henly as writers. I give Janis Ian an 85, because "Seventeen" is easy to dance to.

Choices are great aren't they, mud... :o)

Life is ripoff
when you expect to get what you want.

Life works
when you choose what you got.

Actually what you got is what you chose.

To move on, choose it.
