Now I wonder which kind? Any of these do ya think? Don't see them driving a white or cream color van...I don't know...

They're going to constantly downplay the middle east angle until it is conclusive (by capture or kill). That is because they are greatly concerned about the public reaction to the news around the country (which could be severe).
I don't think the Administration relishes the idea of having to tamp down an internal "civil war" (against muslims) while conducting two offensive wars (Al Qaeda and Iraq). It is a distraction they wish to avoid for as long as possible -- or at least until they can develop a plan (a political saleable plan, in all senses) for dealing with what might be a rather stark and potentially violent internal reaction to this.
