Johnson was responding to the fact that the Montgomery monster's latest hit was grimly performed by two human beings in that now well-known white panel van - facts that might well suggest a terrorist attack.

Although it makes a good story line in a movie and great propaganda for the Red Army, the German defeat at Stalingrad had other reasons. If this incident is included, it is perhaps the least of them.

I was replying to the ficticious story line in the movie, the contents of which seem so often ending up mistaken as "truth" in some peoples' uncritical minds. My comments were not meant as a criticism of you or that you felt that way. Please accept my apology for not making that clear.

Vasiliy Zaitsev was an actual sniper, and most of the movie "Enemy at the Gates" was based on his skilled shooting at Stalingrad.
He made his kills with a Red Army-issue Moisin-Nagant, which can be picked up at many gun stores and auctions for under a hundred bucks.
My favorite gun movie is Tom Berringer's "Sniper". Now THAT'S shooting.

Sure, they're a bunch of crazies, but I doubt that they're doing everything. I see a gutting of the Constitution and Bill of Rights in the name of fighting terrorism. I see images of a police state unfolding. I see propaganda radiating out of the screen everyday, about how we're going to be attacked. Meanwhile, the border is open, we funded Hussein in the 80s, the government abuses and coverups of Waco, Ruby Ridge and Oklahoma City, talks of tracking devices, etc.? Does everything appear right with this picture? There appears to be a globalist element to this story. Notice how the UN is being propped up, even by our president who got his total UN power of US act passed. Meanwhile, encoded within the US national security act is a Kyoto-protocol. Remember how Bush was so against it? Oh, in the same document, Bush was supporting the UN, speaking how the US will continue to support it. Bush wants to give amnesty to illegal aliens, "Free" Trade continues to be pushed, and our economy is is being bloated to unheard of levels, even during an unstable time? What about colored money, calls for the end of the dollar, a "Free Trade" of the Americas, etc.?
Where about the radar from the downed jet liners? Didn't they "lose contact" during that time or something? Why, didn't all the planes all of a sudden lose transmission. Of course? Why did building number seven collapse?
What motive would Iraq have to attack America, full knowing that it would sign a death warrant? I don't think that he's suicidal. It's possible, but not likely. Why would the US attack a sovereign nation, full knowing that is far-removed from what America is about, even if the country to be attacked is a dictatorship. What about the stability of the middle east region, as well as our own economy? What effects will come out of such an attack? Why, even after Iraq has stated that it will allow inspections, granted there are a few off-limit places that don't appear capable of building or developing nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, is it not enough?
Why does the Patriot Act claim that individuals thought to have committed a crime do not need a search warrant, thus breaking the unreasonable search and seizure law. What about representation rights? Why are these being gutted?
Why did an FBI report refer to Christians, defenders of the second amendment and Constitutionals as domestic terrorists?
So, what do we have:
1. Borders left Open
2. Amnesty Being Pushed
3. Constitutional Rights Under Attack
4. UN given control of US war policy through resolutions
5. Al Quaeda Trained at US Flight Schools and military bases.
6. Cover-ups and government abuses during Oklahoma City, Ruby Ridge, Waco, Pearl Harbor, Gulf of Tonkin
7. Tracking Devices proposed to weed out terrorists from the general population, via DARPA.
8."Free Trade" continuing to be promoted by President Bush, even though it's causing our jobs to be shipped elsewhere.
9. Pre-emptive war strategy, totally against what America is about, given hard core evidence hasn't been obtained.
10. Bush's propping up and support for the UN, WTO, as well as the EU.
11. Colored money and talks of the elimination of the dollar.
12. The Push for hemispheric government in the Americas, while the EU expands into Eastern Europe, another arm of the trilateral commission?
13. Police in ski-masks? Cameras going up?
14. Bush referring to the Mexican border as "The New Frontier".
15. Taliban and Al Quaeda members escorted out of Afghanistan as Kandihar fell?
16.Reports that Iraq is not a threat, them claiming that they'll go along with inspections, yet that's not good enough?
17. No middle easterner names on the flight lists.
18.Bio Weapons given to Iraq in the 80s.
19. CIA's "confidential" information regarding September 11.
20.US selling super computers and nuclear weapons to China and North Korea.
21.David Schippers, ex governmental employee, FBI I believe, who stated that there were talks of airliners flying into the world trade center years prior to the attack.

23. Bush insisting on full control over the "War on Terror", in which he got in a bill, of course subject to the UN at times.

Good point. Law enforcement does not and should not need to hide behind ski masks. What's up with that? Too much Hollywood?
