You are right, SWAT team members wear balaclavas and have goggles and helmets on. Not to mention body armor in full evidence. And there's usually more than one or two there, in a line making a 'body bunker' right before doing a forced entry and tossing of the flash-bang.

If this were to start happening all over the country, it would certainly go a long way toward shutting us down. I agree it wouldn't entirely, but think about it, would people want to be out shopping etc.? The implications for the effect on the economy are endless.

Some mentioned on FOX news, yesterday, that the sniper seems to be reinacting scenes or themes from old movies. I just thought of "Enemy at the Gate". The sharpshooter in the movie terrorized the German army and ultimately defeated them.

Errr, no, it was the Soviet Army that defeated the German army. With a lot of assistance from the Brits and the Yanks, who kept the Russkis supplied with trucks, food, and other necessary stuff.

I was talking about the movie. The Soviet sharpshooter in the movie was more or less soley responsible for terrorizing the German Army and keeping them off kilter so that they could be defeated. The American and British were not even mentioned in the movie.
