NEWSFLASH: Another shooting, approx. 9 AM, this time near Fredericksburg

I work in a newsroom in Fredericksburg, and they heard on the police scanner that a person has been shot at a gas station at "Four Mile Fork" which is a neighborhood just south of the City of Fredericksburg.

No details yet, but I wanted to let y'all know -- and keep up the tradition of FReepers getting news first.

Pray for the victim, and pray that this is a random shooting, and that this monster's terror has not widened yet again.

Local Baltimore news reporting that there has been a shooting at an Exxon station on Route 1 near I95. Part of 95 closed,? searching vehicles. Raining very hard there.

They could be switching vehicles. That way, the cops check vans but they've already switched into other vehicles. This is how drug dealers and illegal immigration rings work.

I worry for the cops safety and other motorists if this guy is sitting in traffic.

Radio in DC (WMAL)reporting with the thought that the suspect(s) are listening, and saying no matter what you do, you will be apprehended, even if you leave I95 trying to get away.

Montgomery county is in MD. The Springfield Interchange is in Virginia. This is the main interchange on the East Coast.

This is an area with many beaucoup AlQaida sympathizers, and up until 9/11 had resident what may only be described as a large AlQaida support team (60+ taxicab drivers who disappeared on 9/11).

Kasi, due for execution in mid-November, used to come here to work on fixing taxicab breakes. He normally visited every Saturday morning.
