I would guess the dark would be an advantage to the shooter if all the lights are around his target and he's in the dark.

Is he now SEEKING the extra advantage deliberately??

Drivers on I-270 Report Shots Fired, Police Investigate



(Rockville) -- Police are questioning a man about a possible shooting on Interstate-270.
Montgomery County police say a woman driving on 270 near Route 28 called and reported to police that someone had shot at her.

She told police the shooter may have been in a blue Dodge pickup truck.

Police have stopped a blue truck near Route 124 and are questioning the driver, but they are not calling him a suspect at this point

Dark by 7:30 and the victim was lit up so he could read a newspaper and after all these killings no one has the presence of mind to look for a killer. Again, frustrating.

Whoa, first I've heard of them buying white vans. It was a few months ago when near my local dairy queen I saw a swarthy young man in a brand new sparkling white utility van or panel van, the kind with very few windows and remarked about it to my husband. It caught my eye because he was driving slow but like he was casing the strip mall nearby, temporary tags and all. Curious.

I thought of it after the shootings; when they talked about a white van, I immediately thought about the vent windows on my Caravan. Don't worry about me: I am not a nut, just a Freeper.
