I'm not even 100% sure the killer(s) even left the casing and card behind. Seems weird doesn't it. Maybe the kid one was a copy-cat? Who knows...

Its theirs. Look at it this way. If they don't leave the casing, and the cops find the card and note, how will the cops know it belonged to the shooter and wasn't placed their by a prankster? They needed them both together.

They wanted to try to establish some informal means of communication. Leave a note. The card and casing may have been on the note to keep it from blowing away. The cards have pictures, that would be hard to see much writing on. So, probably a separate note.

It was sarcasm. They couldn't break the Ramsey case even with the culprits sitting across the table from them. I should have corrected it and not used the DPD. I should have used the appropriate police involved.

They don't have alternate side of the street parking in Manassas as they do in NY. Or did son of sam block a fire hydrant or loading zone to get his parking ticket?

I agree that basic police work, following every clue, talking to every caller at the tip line, will help solve this case. A bit of luck would help too.

Confiscate the candy (if it bothers you so much) and get the kid to school safely. THAT's WHAT YOUR JOB IS!!!! and these people pay the taxes that pay your salary and are entitled to the bus service.

We've just had another bush accident, with a truck hauling steel. They had to use a crane to right the bus. I wish they would make the buses use seatbelts like they make the parents do. At least they would have been held into their seats better. Their waiting for helicopters...

Yea, could be, it's just the whole things reeks if you know what I mean. No casings at any other location. Probably in the car at all other locations. The school one just seems to stick out like a sore thumb. Maybe they wanted to project the idea of "I" so everyone would think it was one dude.

Think of this. If there is more than one, and they find one of them, put them in jail, and the shootings continue, why then they just might let him go. "Hey, how can I be the killer, you've had shootings since I've been in lockdown."

I'm going to stay out of the tarot card speculation except that if there was more than two people involved why did they feel the need to brag to someone else? Lone nuts feel the need for companionship and communication, not pairs. Pairs have each other. It was "I" not "we".

Not so much bragging, as signalling to their 'friends' that it is them. I instead of WE so that the cops still can't say for sure if it is 1 or 2 or 3 shooters.

Around here we refer to it as a "woodchuck gun". And here's an interesting tidbit. Several of the Lackawanna 6 went with an Arab auto dealer to the local auto auction a few months ago. They bought white vans. (I have a relative who works there, and who was shocked to see their faces on televison when they were arrested). Maybe it's nothing, but then maybe it's something. Anyway, these guys were in full sheet garb, and during the auction laid out their prayer rugs in the auto lanes! Royally pissed off the other dealers, too.

Well isn't THIS an interesting tid bit. Of course I'm sure I'll get some replies letting me know that it's ok for Arabs to buy white vans, and it means nothing. We wouldn't want to racial profile now would we.....

It could be more than one shooter sharing the same weapon; I'm fairly certain it is a rifle.

I'm also fairly certain that the Sunoco shooting is the sniper's work.

I'm not sure whether he shoots both from the vehicle and from sniper nests is a telling clue. I would think he'd stick with one MO.

I know, don't get me started!:) I've homeschooled and and had my kids in charter school and some now in public school. Some of the things our charter school administrators do and say and make rules about drive me crazy. No common sense anymore, just protect there behinds at all costs.
