Hey, I'd almost rather it be terrorists. I'm getting tired of the demonization of gun owners, defenders of liberty and white males. I find it especially timely considering the savagery and evil of the Wichita Horror was perpetrated by two black males.

As for why I'd prefer it to be terrorists, the people are dead or wounded, that won't change if it's a nut. It seems we aren't going to get serious about certain issues re: terrorists and their ilk until we start adding it all up.

I think your reasoning is sound here. None of us really knows who is doing this and we need to be open to any possibility until the actual perp is picked up. But there seems to be an overwhelming desire to have this be anything but an act of Islamo-fascist terror. I note the same tendancy with the anthrax attacks.

As I said in a post last night I don't care if its a Patagonian transsexual alpaca doing the shooting I want the shooter in custody and the shootings to stop. Yes, I know alpacas have a very difficult time dealing with triggers given that they have hoofs instead of fingers.

The key info it seems to me was until the school shooting there were no shell casings which might well indicate a firearm action other than semi-automatic and that the shell casing was deliberately placed by the shooter.
Maybe everything found at that scene was intentional misdirection from the shooter?

Maybe the tarot card was not placed by the shooter?

If it were AQ that were doing it and tey wished to maximize the length of time the team doing these actions could operate then such a note would make a great deal of sense.

Just saw a news conference w/ Chief Moose for the first time in full. He comes across as very "together" to me, 'specially w/ the sleep deficit he must under.

The theory that this case has attracted a competing copy-catter is interesting and, with the discrepencies factored in, VERY plausable.It could be that, having heard of the white van/two men report (unverified as to a connection w/ actual crime) they are playing it out.

I would think seven (nine ?) sniper shootings would be much more difficult to carry out, remain unseen, and leave only 'planted' (?) clues if it was also needing to be coordinated w/ another person. One shooter seems more likely.

This guy is a joke!

The reporters ask him "In your experience with snipers and serial killers..."

WHAT EXPERIENCE??? The guy is a joke! He was a lousy cop when he was in Portland. He took the money they contracted him and he ran because he couldn't do the job, and he headed for what was supposed to be a quiet little community, where he is now!!

This case will never be solved by him. They would do better to bring in the Denver PD and have them investigate!
