DNC's "Every Vote Counts" fundraiser TONIGHT, with Bill Clinton in DC

Tonight at 8:00 p.m. at the Warner Theatre, former President Clinton and Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe will host the DNC's "Every Vote Counts" fundraiser, which is expected to raise at least $4 million toward DNC efforts to, as they like to say, "protect voters' rights" on election day.

Entertainment includes performances by James Taylor, Janet Jackson, Don Henley, John Mellencamp and others, as well as a showing of Spike Lee's "We Wuz Robbed." The former President and McAuliffe, among others, will speak; speeches currently are scheduled for after the concert. Hillary also slated to attend.

What is sad is that some people are unaware that they are implicated in voter fraud. Election officials should be required to send a "penny postcard" to every voter tacitly thanking them for voting. It would also give the recipients the opportunity to see all of the "registered" voters at their homes.

Stay safe, this sniper stuff is really scary.

The warner theater is near metro center. There are too many people there and no hiding place and no clear shots from 100 plus yards. Plus, since celebrities will be there, there will be a lot of surveillance and security. This is probably the safest place to be in DC.
