Maryland Freepers, this may be our LAST BEST CHANCE to pull our state back from the brink of becoming a liberal socialist dictatorship. If youve ever wanted to get ACTIVELY INVOLVED and do something that will have an impact, there are numerous upcoming opportunities.
Defeating KKT is as simple as getting a high conservative turnout on election day, Tuesday November 5th. Okay, so maybe that isnt so simple. Getting high turnout requires that those of us who are passionate and informed talk to our like-minded and indifferent friends and neighbors and make sure they get to the polls to vote.
Achieving a victory against KKT also requires a strong public show of support for Bob Ehrlich, to help convince swing voters and undecided voters that he is the right choice for Maryland. People want to vote for a winner, and when they see how many people support Bob Ehrlich, they will want to vote for him too.
Aside from getting your fellow conservatives to the polls on election day, there are some exciting opportunities to actively show support for Bob Ehrlich and Freep some high-profile corrupt Democrats at the same time.

It's been about a week and I have not heard a thing. I'm thinking he doesn't need any help with that lack of response.
Depending on what county you're in, they're either not the most organized bunch or else they're so busy trying to coordinate the hundreds of people who previously signed up to volunteer but who haven't been showing up lately (as is the case in Howard County). A lot of folks got their free t-shirt at the first volunteer coordination meeting and haven't been heard from since.
Freepmail me with what county you want to help out in and I'll see if I can do anything to get you connected.
We don't need a permit, do we?
Pooks Hill Marriott is a good location, in that there is only one main way in... and it's a nice, long, wide road with a nice long, wide grass patch (county or state right-of-way) in front of the place. All the Dims must pass it to get into parking lot. It would be great to have a huge crowd of FReepers and FRiends holding signs about the party of child molesters (remember Friendship Heights ex-mayor?), perjurors, rapists, etc.

Anti-gun politicians are scrambling to benefit from the Beltway sniper.
Just one day after vowing to avoid the gun issue as long as the sniper is loose, Maryland gubernatorial nominee Kathleen Kennedy Townsend proved herself a liar by shipping a new ad to Washington TV stations that reviles her GOP opponent for voting against a ban on so-called "assault weapons."
"In the 30-second ad, which is scheduled to begin airing today, the camera pans over an array of militaristic-looking rifles, then cuts to a man pulling a handgun out of his front pocket," the Washington Post reported today.
An announcer tells viewers that Republican Robert Ehrlich Jr. "voted against banning assault weapons and cheap handguns" and received an F grade from the almighty Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.
'Shameful'
"We've got a killer on the loose, we have funerals taking place, and she and her campaign have decided to put that to use for their political gain. It's shameful," Ehrlich campaign spokesman Paul Schurick told the Post.
Townsend's campaign says it rolled out the issue after left-of-center Rep. Constance Morella, R-Md., began airing a radio ad in Montgomery County in which anti-gun activist Sarah Brady hails Morella for "stand[ing] up to the gun lobby." What that has to do with the gubernatorial campaign is a mystery: Morella is not running against Townsend.
Although the Maryland suburbs' anti-firearms laws have done nothing to stop the gunman, pundits say the sniper attacks could propel the foundering Townsend into the governor's mansion in Annapolis.
Maryland's two left-wing Democrat senators, Second Amendment opponents Paul Sarbanes and Barbara Mikulski, have been milking the crisis for photo opportunities.
Another anti-gun pol, Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., wants the Federal Trade Commission to investigate and stop the sale of "military" rifles to Americans.
"There is no legitimate purpose for a military rifle than to make war," Conyers said Thursday. "There is no reason these rifles should be marketed to civilians."
And of course, the anti-Second Amendment organizations are having a feeding frenzy.
She must not win!
Put on your thinking caps (not the tinfoil ones, please - reality in Maryland is already terifying enough, thanks)...
I say that everyone should show up with bullseye shirts on...
"If KKT becomes Governor, please shoot me"
I just found this on the calendar page of the Maryland Democrats website:
OCTOBER 18
President WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON Reception
Join Lt. Governor Kathleen Kennedy Townsend and Special Guest President Bill Clinton at the Wyndam Hotel, Baltimore 7-8pm. Call Carole Everett 410-269-8818 to reserve your ticket!
The Coppin state event may have been during working hours or in a bad neighborhood for some Marylanders, but this one may be the ticket. It's later in the evening and at the Wyndam (sp?) hotel. Anyone know where that is??
What? You mean there's more than one conservative in Maryland--me? I feel like one of those poor persecuted Christians in China, hiding my beliefs so I don't get my hands cut off by the local government for the crime of being conservative.
I post the link for the invitation here, because they have been kind enough to have included driving directions to the Bethesda Marriott on the invitation.
We need every able bodied Marylander to rain on the KKT/Clinton Parade of Fools; not to mention getting everyone they can to the polls on November 5th - or we're screwed, guys.
