This Killer Doesn't Fit the Expected Profile Fits the profile of a trained Islamic terrorist - wonder why that was not mentioned?

Fits the profile of a trained Islamic terrorist - wonder why that was not mentioned? Because everybody knows that Madelyne Toogood is much more of a threat than a trained Islamic terrorist sniper.

Exactly. If his motive is to distract the police departments in DC suburbs (where there are many potential targets for a larger operation threatening our national security), then the killer is doing an excellent job of it.

I totally agree....I think this is a trained terrorist. The random like surgical strikes with seemingly no regard to race ethnicity and the fact that ALL of the victims were simply BEING TYPICAL AMERICANS when they were gunned down.

What all the victims have in common is that they are Americans. Hmmm, there is a threat out there to kill all Americans, and the slimes doesn't even raise this as a possibility. Go figure.

I origninally thought terrorist too. Now, however, I think that a terrorist group would want to take credit for the action. I would think a press release saying we can get you anywhere would be forthcoming.
My concern, living inside the beltway, is that the gripping fear and lockdown of schools will feed an idea to the terrorists.

They will rot in hades with their tongues gnawed off before they utter that tid bit of criminal profiling.

Mustn't frighten the "sheeple," ya know.
My guess is that this is a continuation of what began on 9-11. My only questions are what took the bastards so long and where will they strike again?
If these shooters were cautious and set their vehicle up properly, there'd be no need to flee quickly. They could hang around for some time until just before the cops showed up then slowly drive off.
And what BETTER place to wage a campaign of offing innocent victims than Montgomery County, MD and DC where only the cops -- and the bad guys -- are SUPPOSED to have guns.
The shooting in VA MAY have been a bad choice as I believe VA does have a CCW law on the books.
These morons MAY have some surprises if they try this crap down south.

Right! I expect to learn that the shooter is a Palestinian who has been trained in sniping.
He knows that a single shot is very difficult to locate by sound and a .223 is very unlikely to let out a puff of smoke unless it is fired close to dirt or dust.
And he knows to pick a variety of targets that will scare hell out of people.

The case was solved when the police received information that a Remington .35 caliber rifle had been stolen from a gun store in a burglary and that the weapon was sold to Mr. Sylvester. Can someone explain to me how a gun that was stolen in a burglary from a gun store was then sold on-paper to Mr Sylvester?
I can see how the cops could've matched ballistics once the rifle was recovered, but not before (at least in 1994)since I don't think NY was tracking the ballistic record of longarms sold in the state back then.

Don't you know that would be profiling? The P/C crowd would be furious, if they suggested that.

Same reason you don't (or rarely) hear that the rebel forces in the Ivory Coast
are Muslim insurgents pushing for a separate Muslim state.

I would hate to think that an American is doing this, but everyone on tv thinks so.
