Four of the NJ judges were appointed by a republican RINO.

Its also common practice in NJ to fill the vacancy with someone of the same idealogy... Dont ask me why. Mobster influence?

great republic into a democracy, and approximately half that time for democracy to self-destruct.

Well - look at it this way - the Libertarians and independents are happy. They are getting the total abolution of the rule of law they wished. Of course, the country will be run by socialists - but they do not worry about that. At least the GOP has been stopped and that non-conservative George W. Bush.

I'm sure they feel they still will have a chance to take over America and take it back to its roots - if only the current government gets so bad that it will bring a revolt.

Again, we thank them for their help in our fight against the socialist takeover of this country.

Well, I guess the rat is now the candidate SELECT.

Way to go NJSC, you have single handedly disenfranchised millions of rats who voted for the torch to be their candidate.

If this is ok - I hope the GOP also uses this tactic.

No they should not. If we sink to the level of the RATS, we become RATS. We are the party of upholding the Rule of Law. And even if we are defeated, we fought the good fight. It is not about retaining power, it is about upholding principles. I will not be party to the destruction of the Rule of Law just to win an election or two. It isn't worth it. Let the RATs burn in hell for it - not us.

The Democrats quickly chose Lautenberg as a replacement, and the Republicans went to court.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't it the Democrats who went to court to ASK that the ballot switch be allowed ?

I'm sick to my stomach. The Rats have successfully destroyed what remains of the rule of law and this nation's election integrity.

But we can make lemonade out of a lemon. Pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and go right back at 'em again!

We just have to work harder in other senatorial campaigns if Lautenberg is destined to pull this scam off in New Jersey.

No time or room now for all that voting-for-a-Dem-over-a-RINO-crappola debated endlessly here on this forum. Votes must be cast wisely, or we lose the senate, lose what's left of our capitalist system, and probably get President Hillary, to boot.

(Come to think of it, I'd like to have Hillary to boot!)

Leni

Cristie Todd Whitman was the Republican who picked 4 of NJ's Justices and she is nothing but a worthless RINO

Good point. The consensus around here is that RINOs while appoint a conservative bench, despite hardcore evidence to the contrary.

EVERYBODY WINS!! This is a victory for State's Rights, you know. As pathetic as NJ is, they ought to be able to decide their own mess in their own state. You can impeach the NJSC, or you can vote non-Whitman's in to appoint non-liberals. Welcome to the creaky wheels of democracy.

Yep. Once the NJ Supreme Court made their decision, that's it. I think the NJSC blew it, but SCOTUS is in no position to overturn.

My head all but exploded when I heard Forrester whine about NJ being at the bottom of the pork barrel. I started yelling at the screen, "we don't need anymore porkmeisters in the Senate! Those are MY tax dollars you want to snark up!"

Luckily, I'm not an NJ voter, but my daughter is. But she heard him too & is now considering a 3rd party candidate--she may well vote for the Conservative Party candidate after THAT faux pas by Forrester.

Yes, the fact that this nation has enjoyed the bloodless transition of power for centuries will probably change as a result of this kind of crap. I don't think we'll last another decade without seeing bloodshed in some of these election battles. And it will only get worse. Thanks, SCOTUS. Thanks, RATs. Thanks, RINOs and RINO-lovers.

If this guy is smart he'll run on the "I'm getting cheated" campaign

I recommend a few modifications:

"I think abortions are awesome, free prescription drugs for everyone makes perfect sense, social security and medicare are excellent programs that function perfectly well, and I'm getting cheated."

There. That ought to work.

It will be a victory if Forrester wins, although it is a greater uphill battle now. Not just because he is no longer facing Torricelli, but because legally, it has been upheld, the democrats did nothing wrong. He has lost the moral high ground because of this ruling. "

The moral high ground means nothing in elections....perception, however, is everything. Forget about who technically can be considered "right" or "wrong"....milk the injustice part - and no matter how the Dems try to spin what they did, it "felt" dirty to ALL who analyzed it ( including ultra leftist commentators....it "felt dirty" )....it even felt "dirty" to the great pool of ignoramuses that never pay attention to anything ( "gee, that doesn't sound like it's "fair" )...we now need to fight like all heck on the real issues of Lautenberg's record. It ain't pretty, folks....and the word has to get out...NOW!!!

Apparently, when he ran against Fenwick, he wanted 21 debates - one for each NJ county. I believe Forrester challenged him to 21 debates, and he initially said he would, but then reneged. I would imagine there will be at least one debate, and I've read that he's a lousy debater.

Leni, if they're fighting this hard, they must be scared.

Or they are really just jerks.

I can't decide. I feel like Donald Segreti is running the DNC, with Dwight Chapin as his sidekick.
