I said this on a thread Friday, this does affect some of us elsewhere. I live in Phoenix but grew up in Rockville and have sisters, nieces and nephews and friends there. One sis lives 5 minutes from Thursdays shootings.I have a nephew near today's shooting.

I have been praying this person or persons be caught before anyone else is killed. Woke up and began praying this a.m.. I know this sounds weird, but while still in bed I had thoughts this morning of mothers and children together while I was praying and began to wonder what would be more traumatic...child shot in front of mother or vice versa (I was wondering what this person might be thinking). Decided to turn on FOX and there it was, just the scenario I had been seeing while half asleep. Needless to say, I was pretty shook up.

They believe the shot came from the woods, so yes, the shooter would be on foot in the woods.

The PG County police say it's a .22 and this shooting is NOT related to the Montgomery County sniper.

So they're assuming the sniper has no other weapons in his arsenal or an accomplice with a different weapon? It's more likely than not that it's related. Snipers don't normally go off shooting at school children two days after 7 other people are shot. The idiot profilers said the Virginia shooting wasn't related at first too. We're in big trouble. When are they going to bring in some real experts.

I love it....no one knows exactly what race these shooters are yet everyone here is convinced their Islamic fundamentals. Kinda funny that the shootings aren't happening nationwide if this is part of a master plan. I just find the "serial killer" idea hard to grasp...there is no connection between victims at all..it's too random.. adults, kids, women, men, different ethnic groups, different economic groups, no obvious sexual angle...this seems too cold and calculated...too well-planned
