I agree about the horse hokey statement. The sniper could have a multitude of arms to choose from. It's real easy to make a .22 lr really quiet as well, but it's not a good round for real damage. But this isn't consistant with the description of his wounds, unless the round hit bone and mushroomed really bad.

Does anyone else think that if this is terror it's supposed to hit home with those in washington? This could very well be politically motivated since it is so close to Washington D.C. They can't get in to D.C. and sneak around with a weapon very easily, but just outside they can get to the families who work in D.C. with relative ease. Of course it's all speculation for now, it's going to take time to get proof. :(

Me too. Even Fox had a self-styled "criminal profiler" on this morning, lady by the name of Pat Brown. Her insight on the shooter? Round up everyone who "owns one of these guns, or has an interest in this type of guns or who goes to the range a lot". She even stated that we should "look for someone who might go up to Canada to shoot moose, because that's what they do with this type of gun".

Canada? Moose? With an AR-15? Come on, lady, I could be a better criminal profiler than that! Jeez!
