A lot of hunters happen to belong to unions. They have been taught to fear the GOP by their union masters.

A lot of hunters happen to belong to unions. They have been taught to fear the GOP by their union masters. If hunters (including bow hunters) and gun owners who belong to unions support the Democrats, then they are jeopardizing their freedoms for the sake of a job. I wouldn't mind that so much, but they are jeopardizing MY FREEDOMS for the sake of their job.

The plot line is simple: If they Federalize hunting regulations they can use "hunter safety issues" to enact national gun control regulations. With the help of Senators from places like New York and California they can then whip states like Wyoming and Texas into line.
We need to stop this fast!

I'm afraid that at least for the union longshoreman on the West Coast, the
unions/Democrats have found a great bribe.
People who can make $60K-$150K doing a job they can start without a high school
education are going to be easily moved to do the bidding of their fellow travelers.

If hunters (including bow hunters) and gun owners who belong to unions support the Democrats, then they are jeopardizing their freedoms for the sake of a job.The dumb s***s aren't even doing that; they are actually less likely to even have a job every time they vote 'rat, but they can't/won't see it. The old 'pub "fat cat" is dead, but you can't convince Joe 6 - whose family votes Democrat because grandpa did - that the 'rats will sell out every last working guy as fast (okay, faster) than today's GOP candidate.
The socialists control the media, the media wools the wage earners, and the thugs take care of any free thinkers who might have figured it out.

How can anyone trust a democrap on anything?
To: Varmint Al
At least we have a Republican President that has actually been out in the field hunting and he can veto any such stupid legislation if it every happens to pass! I like President Bush, but I don't see him having the courage to veto anything that comes from Congress.

Remember two things
1.)The purpose of the 2nd amendment has nothing to do with hunting and sport shooting. It's about the ultimate veto power of the soverign people
2.)Most of us are already armed

I own a ranch and part of the income of the ranch is hunting leases. Our hunters enjoy the ranch as much as we do. Thay are safe and trustworthy with thier guns. When you talk about gun control they say not in my life time.

Liberal bureaucrats could use such a law as SB 1655 and interpret it to prevent the hunting of pheasants and all other species that were not in the US when Columbus arrived.
This is liberal incrementalism in its most heinous form. By controlling the hunting of Exotic animals, it gets a foot in the door in federalizing all hunting. It is just the first step to stop all hunting. When all hunting is stopped, then fewer people will own guns. Then with fewer gun owners it will be easier to subvert the Second Amendment!

How can any hunter support the Democrat party? How could any taxpayer support the Democrat Party?
How could any (real) Catholic support the Democrat Party?
How could anybody who is not an "oppressed minority victim", not a hairy, screeching feminist, not an illiterate welfare mother who has babies like flies, who is not a parasite..... support the Democrat Party?
How could anyone who is not a scumbag support the Democrat Party?
There is no explanation. Many, many people are incapable of linear thought.

The bill as written is only the tip of the iceberg. Once they can Federalize hunting, then the Amendments start when it gets to committe. What do you think they will add in committee? This is Incrementalism in its most vile form.
To: Varmint Al
That's true, and I was thinking about the same thing.
