Here's the sequence of events according to county police:

At 5:20 pm Wednesday, a window was shot out at the Michaels store in the Northgate Shopping Center in Aspen Hill.

Around 6 pm Wednesday night a 55-year-old man was shot and killed outside a Shoppers Food Warehouse in Wheaton.

At 7:41 am Thursday, a Hispanic male on a lawn mower was shot and killed near the 11,400-block of Rockville Pike.

Well, this is right where I work. Our security people are telling people to stay inside. I'm sure the demoncrats will want MORE gun control laws!

Add to that list:

- At 8:12, at the Mobil gas station on Aspen Hill Road at Connecticut Avenue, a man pumping gas was gunned down
- A half-hour later at the post office of the Leisure World retirement community, a woman was shot in the head.
- Another fatal shooting was reported at 10 a.m. at a Shell gas station on Knowles Avenue at Connecticut Avenue.

I work a little bit further out in Shady Grove area but we're being told not to go out at lunch. Montgomery County schools are in Code Blue lock-down.

They just announced over our PA that someone was just shot in the immediate area. That would be at least #6.

You know, there are a lot of those "peaceful" islamists around the DC metro area. I wonder if PC has stopped the police from naming the race or ethnic background. Random murders sure is the modus operandi of the peaceful jihadists.

Well who knows who's behind this crime spree-- could be some generic all-American whack job.

However, you raise a good point. If there are Islamic Fifth Columnists here in America, they are more likely to resort to random shooting instead of suicide bombings.

Israel has dealt with random shooting for years. Israel responded by basically armed the entired adult population. Even school teachers pack Uzis.

Because Israel is such a hard target (as soon as a shooter pulls a gun, every Israeli bystander is drawing too), Palestinians have had to resort to suicide bombings.

America is such a soft target in comparison with so many fewer armed citizens, that a jihadists wouldn't have to kill himself to create terror. He could shoot and scoot and live to enjoy American strip clubs for at least one more night.

I was raised in this area and my family still lives there. All I can say is when something like this happens just pray. I know for certain that pray works and is very powerful.

I pray that G-d gives the police knowledge either through a witness or by some other means, as to who and where this person is. I pray that this evil person doesn't kill anyone else before he's caught and I pray he is caught soon. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen!!

Yes. My liberal co-worker was argueing over lunch for tighter
gun control. I pointed out the statistics of quadrupled house invasions in Australia and the UK since all citizens were supposed to
turn in their guns. With those laws, it was like putting out a welcome mat on the front porch that said: "Break In Here: We are unarmed!"
EVERYONE should be armed NOW! The police cant be everywhere all the time!

Dollars to doughnuts that your liberal co-worker replied that the LEO would just have to work harder to keep the guns away from the criminals--and toss in another 100,000 police officers to boot.

People wonder why I carry when out in the yard, taking the garbage out, mowing the lawn, painting the house, running to Lowes for something small, etc. Granted, protection from a sniper is hard, but if he misses the first shot, I would hope I could protect my family and myself.

A friend of mine was walking his dog at about 11 pm one night. He was approached by two punks in a car. He was carrying and they fled.

A truck driver from the people's republik of Ohio delivered some food to the church last night. He had a story of a foiled car jacking in Columbus. He carries openly on the seat of his car. He said two "dudes" came up to him at a stop light and started to open the door. He is a little crazy anyway, but he said he just asked them which one wanted to be first. Neither one.

What was their response?

Try this on for size.

A town could require (to protect the safety, we could say, of police officers who have to respond to a 911 call) that every home or car that possesses a gun to have a sign on their door that says "Gun Owner" and every gun-haters who doesn't even have a bb gun put up a sign that says "Gun Free Zone".

It would be fun to compare the home invasion, burglary and car jacking rates between those two groups. I mean what criminal who could read English (guess we should make the signs bilingual) would pick the gun owner house when there's a perfectly nice house next door that is gun free?

States with restrictive gun laws are basicly endangering citizens that could protect themselves from such attacks that they can "see" coming IMHO. These folks were just killed outright going about their daily business of living....... A sidearm would'nt have helped the best of warriors or the worst of the sheeple in these case's sadly.

Stay Safe, Armed and CYA !!
