States with restrictive gun laws are basicly endangering citizens that could protect themselves from such attacks that they can "see" coming IMHO. These folks were just killed outright going about their daily business of living....... A sidearm would'nt have helped the best of warriors or the worst of the sheeple in these case's sadly.

Yes, the sad thing is these random acts are near impossible to protect against. If you see the incidnet going down you have a slight chance, in these cases there was none. They could have been LEO's walking across the parking lot, they still would have been vulnerable. I just like to have a slight chance and being armed is that slight advantage over the rest of the citizens.
