Try this on for size.

A town could require (to protect the safety, we could say, of police officers who have to respond to a 911 call) that every home or car that possesses a gun to have a sign on their door that says "Gun Owner" and every gun-haters who doesn't even have a bb gun put up a sign that says "Gun Free Zone".

It would be fun to compare the home invasion, burglary and car jacking rates between those two groups. I mean what criminal who could read English (guess we should make the signs bilingual) would pick the gun owner house when there's a perfectly nice house next door that is gun free?

Why don't you discuss outlawing "eggs" that were thrown at the 36 yr old male, who in turned "punched with his fist" a black youth, which cause the brutal murder of the 36 year old using weapons of, "shovels, cans, BABY STROLLER, LAWN CHAIR and stickes".

Your moronic co-worker probably has some "EXCUSE" for the black youths ,DAMN shame no one had a GUN to fire in the air to run those heathens off of that poor guy...and even a BIGGER DAMN SHAME a couple of the black YOUTHS weren't shot dead...
