Forrester should disavow any further appeals and begin blasting Lautenberg with attack ads right away. I assume that the Greens and Libertarians will still proceed with their appeals.

No, an article in the Miami Herald two days ago proved that Florida voters do not blame Jeb Bush for the voting problems. More than 2/3rds of the voters blamed local election personnel and voters. The swamp Rats and their press accomplices keep blaming Jeb, but the only Florida voters falling for it are the same stupid voters that fell for the "Gore won" lies.

If the SCOTUS overturns this ( obscene ) ruling, it will result in a major stimulus to the great unwashed masses of the Democrats, just in time to mobilize them to vote.

That won't be a problem if the SCOTUS decides the case after the November election. You have 30 days after a decision becomes final to file a petition for certiorari with the Supreme Court, and I think the Supreme Court has 90 days to decide whether to take the case. I don't know when this decision by the NJSC becomes final, but, if the Republicans wait for 30 days to appeal, it may be impossible for the SCOTUS to do anything before Election Day.

Then, if Forrester wins the election, the SCOTUS might reject the appeal as moot. But if Lautenberg wins, they might still take it. As a remedy, they could reverse the election and order the holding of a new, proper one.

People on this site knew this would happen. Oh we all hoped for the best, that these political hacks would follow the law. But inside all of us knew the fix was in after hearing these Justices (and I use that term loosely) ask questions of the Pubbie lawyers.
