I can't see anything that is Java - do you know how I can fix this? Anyone?? (I'm using Netscape 4.8 and it works fine)
To: wirestripper
no...time of day means nothing to hurricanes.

Here is the latest Infrared Satellite picture of Lilly. That looks like quite a highly defined eye in there:

What brouser?

Well, God will take care of the animals, or He will take them to Him.
Either way, they will eventually be safe.

"and I dread it for the POOR ANIMALS""I just thought of that too. It is terrible..."
I have a beautiful Blue Huron that comes here and hunkers down behind my dam everytime we get serious weather. I saw him soar in about 4:00PM this afternoon. I thought to myself when I saw him, "damn, is it gonna get that bad?"lol

The average amount of sunshiny days in Buffalo a YEAR is only 35 days.We had sunshine all summer..
Do you have a problem reading???Did you go to that richey East Aurora school??
Percent of Sunshine
June through August
1. Buffalo: 67
That is 65% of 365 days
Can you figure that out? Are you an accountant for the Government??:>)

What's going on with all those independent red spots along the NE edge of the storm showing up on the long range loop? Are those tornadoes you think?

My word, my sister did say that Alexandria was their nearest shelter, but she said that she could not make it because of the closure of the roads. This is going to be the longest night of my life, methinks.

My windows are taped.Total waste of tim, IMHO. Just makes a bigger mess to clean up.
To: viligantcitizen
not necessarily tornadoes, but strong individual thunderstorms which could produce tornadoes.
To: dennis1x
They sure look ugly.

If you use Internet Explorer, go to "Tools", then "Internet Options", then the "Security"Tab and then hit the "Advanced" Button. Browse that menu which has various Java controls and see how they are set. You sometimes must re-boot windows when resetting Java options.

Tape ain't gonna work this time and I am not sure what direct path you are in. But please take this serious. I know I would be probably out in my front yard blasting some Rush and maybe doing a shot celebrating this monster. But I honestly think there won't be much celebrating in 24 hrs.

Internet Explorer - thanks for any help.

Oh Lord it's great to be in Ohio! Seriously though, I pray for family there. Even if it downgrades to a 3, it is still much worse than Izzy was last week. This has shades of Audrey written all over it.
Would it be better to come ashore during the day or night? I imagine daytime, with heating would allow a last minute push to stay a 4, but nighttime would be scariest for those still down there in its path.
