My word, my sister did say that Alexandria was their nearest shelter, but she said that she could not make it because of the closure of the roads. This is going to be the longest night of my life, methinks.

Oh Lord it's great to be in Ohio! Seriously though, I pray for family there. Even if it downgrades to a 3, it is still much worse than Izzy was last week. This has shades of Audrey written all over it.
Would it be better to come ashore during the day or night? I imagine daytime, with heating would allow a last minute push to stay a 4, but nighttime would be scariest for those still down there in its path.

Hmmmm, She should call the the local Sherrif's office or maybe her local radio station to verify. Sometimes they close a road going in but almost always they will allow traffic out. I'm 1 hour north and find it hard to believe it's that bad there already. It isn't even due to hit land for another 12 hours.
