QUOTE OF THE DAY: My question is, what's changed? Why would Congress want to weaken a resolution? This guy's had four years to lie, deceive, to arm up. He's had four years to thumb his nose at the world. He is stockpiling more weapons. So I'm not sure why members would like to weaken the resolution.

LOL,
Cael Sanderson, the first unbeaten four-time NCAA wrestling champion, was supposed to meet with President Bush today in the Oval Office. Sanderson, who graduated from Iowa State and finished with a 159-0 record, was also to go to the House for the reading of a resolution recognizing his amazing achievements.
I was so hoping to find some pics of his meeting with the Prez on the dose. Did you find anything about this????
The President had some other choice things to say today, too. After your quote of the day, I think this one is my favorite ......
"... the United Nations must show its backbone. And we will work with members of the Security Council to put a little calcium there, put calcium in the backbone, so this organization is able to more likely keep the peace as we go down the road.

What they are trying to weaken is the President, not the resolution. I am sure the President is well aware of that however. I am so disgusted with the Democrats. I didn't think I could possibly detest them more after the election of 2000, but gee, they managed to make that happen!
