Yellow Rose of Texas As many of you may know Rosie has had serious problems with her back since her trip where she led the convoy across America to DC a few years ago. She has had to limit her time online but lurks when she can and thinks of us often. She faces yet another back surgery in the near future which hopefully will eliminate some of her almost constant pain. From Rose My prayer is that this DR has performed this complicated surgery before and can at least stabilize my back so my back stops stair stepping one vertebra and disk on top of another
a cure is beyond human reach, that would be God's territory
Alamo-Girl Our Alamo-Girl, keeper of the Downside Legacy, author of an incredable book on Missle Defense, and very active FReeper, got a positive result on tests she has annually. She has further tests on Monday and we are praying for a good report.

The first thing the doctor said was that the pap smear indicated it was precancerous. Although the nurse said "cancer cells" and the lab report indicated "carcinoma in situ" it is still not considered cancer. After the coloscopy, he said it looked better than the pap would indicate!!!
He extracted tissue for a biopsy and set me up to come back in 2 weeks for a LEEP procedure - an in office procedure to remove the funny tissue.
I asked about a hysterectomy, he said they don't do those much anymore but if I wanted one that it would eliminate various kinds of cancer. My husband and I will be thinking about it.
We have been PRAISING GOD!!!! all afternoon and THANKING HIM!!! for granting our prayer request!
I thank each and every one of you for your prayers, your blessings, your kind thoughts and encouragements! THANK GOD for all this good news and for YOU ALL!

Praise the Father for granting some of your requests.
Alamo-Girl, keep a good attitude. If this is the same thing my wife went through, and it sounds like it could be, they did not need to do a hysterectomy. She is still doing fine 13 years later.

Happy for you. My cousin had all of that done about a year ago and until I read this, I had forgotten about it. At the time we were all so upset. It sounded so bad.Hope you do as well.
