To those of you who had the pleasure of her friendship truly enjoyed a unique experience, mixed with laughs, tears, love and fire. I can't tell you what an empty space she has left, one that will never be filled, ever. To the Freepers that have not had the pleasure, I will endeavor to share with you some of her talents and glow with banter from our cookbook threads, a treasure trove of the essence of Angelique, and many of her dearest friends, for the benefit of her beloved FreeRepublic.

Thanks for the ping, Carlo.
I am so sorry to hear that Arizona, the USA and all of us have lost this patriot.
I pray that she is at peace in a good place, resting in the sunshine and love of Our Father.
Rest easy, Angelique, you have passed out of this life but you were loved and will therefore live on in our hearts.

She would have made the Queen look plain
When, as night drew on,
She passed on the bridge at Toledo
In her black bodice.
A rosary from the time of Charlemagne
Hung about her neck.
The wind which blows over the mountain
Will drive me mad!---V. Hugo

Who art thou, proud God?
What arm throws towers beneath the grass
And changes purple to vile rags?...
What unseen hand
Holds the keys to the tomb?

Such sad, sad news. My Thoughts and Prayers are with Angelique and with her family and friends Over a year ago Angelique posted this poem in memory of another Freeper who passed away. I had corresponded with Angelique and Thanked her for posting this poem. Today I am posting this for you Angelique, Rest In Peace.
God Bless
A ship sets sail in the morning breeze to start for the blue ocean. She is the object of beauty and strength. We watch until she sails away, until at length she hangs like a white cloud just where the sky and ocean come down to mingle with each other. Then someone says, "There, she is gone." Gone from our sight...that is all. She is as large in hull and mast and spar as she was when she left the shore; Her diminished size is in us, not her- At the moment we say, "There, she is gone," other eyes are watching for her coming, and other glad voices are ready to take up the shout, "There she comes." That is dying........
Your Freeper Friend,
Colleen

She was just a very nice gal.
But our loss is Heaven's gain.

I'm sorry to hear this. And I'm sorry for the pain you are feeling from the loss of this dear one.
May her light continue to shine!!
To: carlo3b
So very sorry to hear this and I pray that God will bless and rest her soul in His care.
... and that He will comfort all of those who knew and loved her and all of us who will miss her.
We all must at one time or another pass through that same veil. I pray we can all live lives, and become involved in activities that will have made our sourjourn here worthwhile for others, committed to truth and virtue, and will prepare us for that umtilamte event. It certainly sounds like Angelique did.

I will make sure Angelique is mentioned in my weekly prayers. You will also be mentioned with a plea to God for your continued strangth.
May her wings keep her aloft. God Bless.

Words cannot describe the pain that I feel. She was indeed a special friend to me. I only wish that I could have known her better.

Oh how sad, Carlo. Anglique was witty, feisty, kind, and always a lady. Condolences to her family. Their loss is terrible, and they don't grieve alone.
Allez avec Dieu, Angelique.
