Guess this means we have to kill him! (And fire somebody.)

Wonder if it was a Clinton holdover that did this 'for a better world'?

.......then had to be retrieved during several days of searches of Moussaoui's jail cell in Alexandria, Virginia, where he is being held in solitary confinement awaiting trial. How palatial is this "solitary confinement" cell anyway to require several days of searches?

The classified documents, which were FBI summaries of interviews, then had to be retrieved during several days of searches of Moussaoui's jail cell in Alexandria, Virginia, where he is being held in solitary confinement awaiting trial.Okay, I'll admit that the only familiarity I have with jail cells is from tv and movies but could someone explain to me why it would take several days [!!!] to search a jail cell. You could search my whole house in a lot less time than that!!!

Sounds like a good way to get some disinformation out to the bad guys.

The U.S. government gave 48 classified documents to accused Sept. 11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui by mistake. This could only happen if the employee responsible was from the bottom of the employment pool. These employees are so ignorant, stupid, and annoying that they need to be protected by Democrats from justifiable retribution, like firing.
As Evad said, un-Freeking-Believable.

Kinda gives "we're from the government and we're here to help" a whole new meaning.

Caste system alert: Here's a chance for the government to smite an FBI agent for the classified release. But will the FBI agent(s) get as much punishment as an ordinary civilian (with a security clearance) would, for releasing 48 classified documents to an apparent "enemy combatant?" This sort of release gets spies life in prison. But what will the FBI agent get? Are they above the laws the rest of us must follow, or not?

Man, we need to put the government in charge of both the airlines and the economy, seeing as how they do such a flawless, bang-up job on everything else they get ahold of.
Just once more, in bold caps: GOVERNMENT GAVE CLASSIFIED INFORMATION TO TERRORIST IN JAIL; GOVERNMENT PROOFREADER SAYS, "OOPS" AND CALLS GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE UNION TO ENSURE JOB SECURITY

Great. Now he must quietly disappear never to be seen again.

i guess we should consider ourselves fortunate that he wasn't mistakenly given, say, ten lbs. of c4 and detonators, huh?

The classified documents were given to Moussaoui, the only person charged in the United States for the hijacked plane attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, by mistake over the past few months as part of the evidence turned over to him by federal government prosecutors. But they promise they'll protect us next time around. On the other hand, classified or not, if it's going to be used as evidence against him, he has a right to view the material, classified or not. Otherwise, any suggestion that he is receiving justice is nonsense.

The 'intelligence' community couldn't get laid in TJ with a badge, a gun, and a fistfull of C-notes - on a friday night.
If you have any doubt ask the ghosts of 3000 Americans.
The Fumbling, Bumbling, Idiots are STILL more concerned with 'hate crimes' against those who are openly, PUBLICALLY sworn to our destruction than they are to protecting the Constitution, our country, or indigenous Americans.
If you aren't pissed off now and ready to make a difference - then when - after a nuke? After a pox distribution?
When?

Yep, these guys are real competent. Listen, if it's alright with everyone else here, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the first thing I would've done if I was POTUS was fire every head of every agency who was charged with protecting us from terrorism or gathering intelligence about terrorist operations that may occur on our soil or against our citizens (you know like running planes into our buildings).
Apparently, our current POTUS can't seem to bring himself to do that.

Looks like yet another monumental FBI f*ckup! I don't know who to be more concerned about, the terrorists or the FBI. What miserable perfomance of their duties. At least, for the time being, I can still protect myself.
And one more point. Why in God's name is our government giving this evil monster a civil/criminal trial? What a bunch of bull sh*t. Their original instincts were correct: military tribunal. I would only add: one appeal, follwed by death by hanging by the entrails of a freshly slaughtered sow. What we have now is one more price being paid for liberalism.
