President Bush met with President Alvaro Uribe of Colombia today, and discussed the war on terrorism, as well as Columbia's continued efforts in fighting the illegal drug trade. Bush also met with the Boys and Girls Clubs National Youth of the Year finalists in the White House. This evening, the President attended the National Republican Senatorial Committee dinner at the National Building Museum. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush was in Mexico City attending the 11th Conference of Spouses of Heads of State and Government. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

You're right the color is wonderful for her but the lighting in the room is great, too. Good lighting makes such a difference. It looks like President Fox is admiring our Laura too, although his wife is also a lovely woman. :)

FOFLOL. That is funny. I have some friends, native South Louisianians, who recently moved to Atlanta. They have a really lovely home in the suburbs and they are totally fascinated with the basement. Neither of them had ever been in a basement before they looked at that house. LOL

You may indeed. I am going to try to darken the scene behind Laura and if it works, I will post that too.

I cropped it a little more narrowly -- the photo editor software I have was free and it doesn't do much (can't darken backgrounds any more or rub things out, I forgot!).

Is it me or does Vicente have that rosy, three-Tequila glow? (picture in post 241)

Those were beautiful words spoken of Mark Racicot. He sure is much better, no 1000 times better than McAuliffe.

YOu know that the bible says that when two or more people are gathered praying, God is in their midst. Would it not be a good idea that we pick a time for all of us to read this post and take one minute together praying for the president and praying for the success of the elections to bring about a republican house and senate? Choose maybe 10 eastern--I believe in the power of praying together.

Let's do this! The greatest thing we can do for our President is to pray for him, and to do it all at the same time will have tremendous power!

Amen to that, ohio!
I'm usually a day late in reading the Dose (sniff sniff) but gladly lift our President up in prayer. <><
