FreeRepublic Network - Los Angeles Chapter

For those who live in the Los Angeles area, we'll be having another chapter gathering on October 5th at 2:00 p.m.  If you would like to attend use the private reply button below, and let me know.   Also let me know where you'll be coming from, so I can assess where the best geographic location would be for the meeting.  When we have a firm determination how many will be attending, I'll make preparations and get the word out.

If you haven't joined us for one of these meetings, please do so.  It's a relaxed way to meet the people you've been talking to for only a few days or number of years.

I would encourage folks everywhere to join a FreeRepublic Network chapter today.  By networking together we CAN make a difference.

I'm in Northeast Mississippi. Where do I fit in? I don't presume to speak for the others but there are several of us in the upper reaches of the Magnolia State who might find it difficult to get to a Gulf Coast meeting.

Do you know why? If the reason is because of some stupid "discussion board bickering/politiking/competition/whatever", I don't want to know. But it does seem pretty stupid if you ask me, so, since I don't want to think anyone on FR is stupid unless proven otherwise, I'd really like to know, just out of curiousity.

Besides, to me, I think a more potent force would be to have unity, rather than divided groups and sections.

Anyway, I look forward to you reply as long as it doesn't include the following phrase (or something in the spirit of the following), "Well, it's because they (I, the DC Chapter, the FR Network, etc.. said this about me (us, the FR Network, the DC Chapter, etc...) here, and because they're liars, and .... blah blah blah..."

Well, maybe you can form another regional group that would cover areas too far from the Gulf Coast.

I am pinging Blam to this thread, because I am not familiar with the Gulf Coast Region.

You might want to look on your state locale page and see if there are other people in your general area. It's possible you can gather a group and form a chapter if there is interest.
