France MUST take Saddam at his word.
Too many French liasons with Saddam and his terrorists at stake, it seems.
Alternatively, the French have already surrendered France
which shall henceforth become: "New Palestine".
Thus, the French should leave Paris to Arafat's wife and her terrorist friends. Au revoir.

No10 pointed out that during the last, failed, round of inspections, the Iraqi president redesignated about half of his most secret military installations as " presidential palaces", ruling them out of bounds to inspectors. LOL!!! SO TRUE! NO ONE CAN TRUST SADDAMNED!

Wow. That didn't even take a single news cycle!! "GAME ON!!!"
Bush is indeed fortunate in his enemies!

But today it emerged that the offer only applied to military bases - which could let Saddam hide chemical and biological arms stockpiles elsewhere.HA! What a shocker.

But today it emerged that the offer only applied to military bases - which could let Saddam hide chemical and biological arms stockpiles elsewhere. Now who would be stupid enough to fall for that one?
Oh, I forgot. U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan. He gushed to the news media about the Iraqi letter before the rest of the U.N. had a chance to read it.

Since when to French generals have any say over whether an attack will occur?
They only have a say over when they surrender.
Bush said to the U.N. "with you or without you". The U.N.'s immediate efforts at appeasement and the many member country's (like France and Russia) willingness to "take Sadaam at his word" and immediately turn this into a diplomatic dance under their control, means that the answer is "Without Them".
So be it.
