"Most people on this globe are yellow, black or brown, non-Christian, female, young, poor and don't speak English."

What Rev. Jackson is forgetting is that Pres. Bush doesn't represent the world, just the United States, and is obliged to do what is in the U.S.' best interests. I would encourage the other 94% of the world to seek freedom and opportunity by supporting leaders who share those same goals.

Jesse Jackson is, as usual, full of sh*t. Anyone who has ever read the 1790 Census, as I have, knows that blacks who owned property WERE allowed to vote in Virginia and elsewhere.

These were "free black men." If they owned enough property to qualify to vote, they voted. In Virginia alone there were about 5,000 of them. And the supreme irony to the Jackson screed is that the property most owned which permitted them to vote, was slaves.

Of course the correct way to approach any public pronouncement on any subject by His Indescribable Holiness, the Right Reverend Jesse Jackson, is this: Assume that he is lying, and look for the way that he is making money from each particular scam.

Not that I need it to figure out where I stand on this "leader," but how someone feels about the FFs is at this point for me an almost perfect litmus test about whether or not I need to listen to anything more that they have to say.

Which isn't to say that the FFs were at all perfect, but what they acheived was monumental far beyond just about everything that I've seen anyone in this lifetime do, let alone these...people. Someone missing that point is almost always missing quite a lot else.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson yesterday told about 600 Michigan State University students that America's democracy was 37 years old, not 200-plus, and that "democracy as we know it did not begin in Philadelphia, where a bunch of white men wrote the laws."

"Most people on this globe are yellow, black or brown, non-Christian, female, young, poor and don't speak English."

Right Jesse, and many of those "yellow, black, or brown, non-Christian, female, young, poor and don't speak English" individuals would give anything to be able to come to this great country of ours which was founded by that "bunch of white men who wrote the laws" over 200 years ago.

Hey Jesse JackA__,you forgot one thing---every category of person you listed has more credibility than you will ever have, and is dying to come live in America.

- Then how come they are all entitled to special minority rights and give aways in this country?

Yeah a bunch of middle aged white guys without their wives created the greatest govermental system ever. So what?

Maybe they should have just sat back and decided to remain in servitude to Briton. Then what? If this the best Jackson can come up with then he is at the end of his rope. He should sell out his stuff and move to Iraq where where every thing is just peachy keen.

From Laura Ingrahams EBLAST...

WHEN JACKSON SPEAKS AND NO ONE COMES

To listen to any of the recent pronouncements of the "Reverends" Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and their acolytes, it is easy to conclude that black America is hopelessly lost to the Left. One day, the main dish on the menu is reparations. The next, allegations of profiling in the war against terror. The next, racism in standardized tests. Of course none of this talk actually helps black America, but it does keep the financial and political prospects of all race-baiters alive.

Despite the continued popularity of the victimization brigade among television and radio bookers, there are numerous positive signs on the horizon indicating that the politics of Sharpton and Jackson are losing ground. First came the important primary defeat of Rep. Cynthia McKinney in Georgia, then the "Millions for Reparations Rally" in Washington, attended by 990,000 fewer than a million. And let's not forget the important fact that since Sept. 11, 2001, President Bush has enjoyed the highest approval ratings from African-Americans than any Republican president - often in the 40th percentile.

The anti-Jackson/Sharpton trend continued Sunday at Michigan State, where Jackson spoke to a group of about 600 University students, in an auditorium that seated 15,000, and after the sponsoring student group predicted that 6,000 would attend (Two thousands free tickets were also made available.). In today's multicultural, multiethnic society threatened by terrorists at home and abroad, Jackson's message comes across as hackneyed and out of step. Take Jackson's remarks on Sunday when he claimed that America's democracy was 37 years-old, not 200-plus, and that "democracy as we know it did not begin in Philadelphia, where a bunch of white men wrote the laws." Blah, blah, blah. Of course while most Americans are proud of our superpower status, Jackson sees it as a badge of shame, roaring: "We are a great nation, but we have to be of service, we do not have to be superior."

That only 600 students showed up to hear Jackson may be written off to student apathy, but I think it's much more than that. Republicans should remember that they can't expect to have any influence in black America if they don't try. By going above the heads of the so-called black leadership, and directly to black neighborhoods and churches, Republicans will have a fighting chance. School choice and faith-based initiatives are only two of many issues that can break the ice between conservatives and blacks. Jackson and Sharpton know that. That is one reason why they keep beating the racism drum.

WORD OF THE WEEK

trog·lo·dyte noun. 1. A member of a fabulous or prehistoric race of people that lived in caves, dens, or holes. 2. A person considered to be reclusive, reactionary, out of date, or brutish.

Liberals like Hillary Clinton, still clinging to outmoded, failed ideas, are today's political troglodytes.

America was never intended to be a "Democracy." Indeed, the Federal Constitution was intended in a large measure to be a defense against "Democracy." (See Madison in Federalist Paper #10.) The fact that we are far more successful in the world than our mere numbers would imply is to our credit, not fault. And our Government has no authority to be of service to the world. It has specific duties, intended to be of service to the people of its constituent States, and to no others.

Perhaps if Jesse would first acquaint himself with the American tradition, we would be more willing to discuss its merits with him. As it is, he is as usual hurling insult, but showing no understanding. By the way, whatever happened to the book showing him as a shakedown artist, all of his adult life?

Ancient Aramaic, friend. Jesse's name is quickly becoming a punchline.
I seriously think we ought to have tests that must be passed before one is allowed to vote. You'd have to demonstrate a certain knowledge of history, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution along with democratic principles before being given a ballot. (Or allowed on a jury).

The Demidiots would never allow this to happen. As far as they're concerned an informed voter represents a threat to the party of liars, rapists, and enablers.
