Hi, Rokke,
Surprise... I agree with you.
There is another thing I have not seen here in this discussion. A high speed aircraft flying "50 feet" over head would NOT be over head for a very long time. A jet doing, say, 500 MPH would travel ~733 feet in one second... that means in ONE SECOND this plane would travel the length of TWO CITY BLOCKS (12 to the mile). A plane flying at 250 MPH would travel ONE city block in one second.
I think that there is almost no time to SEE any details at all... First the witness must react to a "silent" object moving overhead... then track that object with eyes and head (I tried moving my head at the necessary speed to keep something that fast in view... and got a very stiff neck for my efforts) meanwhile noting details like color and "spoilers", stc. Either the object was a LOT higher... or a lot slower than the speed a fighter jet would be making.
IF there was a plane, I would suspect a local private plane, much higher, in uncontrolled airspace (VFR), following 93 after observing its dive. A fighter jet would not need to survey the crash site to check on the efficacy of its missile from that low... it could do that from a sufficient altitude to remain almost invisible.

I can't believe you think the government wouldn't lie about shooting down a civilian aircraft. Where have you been the past 50 years or so? Our leaders lie so naturally that it probably is impossible for most of them to tell the truth, even when it would be in their best interests to do so. The government-and by that, I mean its constantly corrupt and incompetent leadership-cannot be trusted about anything, and I certainly don't trust its official story about one of the most significant events in American history.

I meant engine pods - like on the aircraft pictures posted on the first part of the thread.

Yeah I know, but there are a lot of extreme liberals(clinton monkies) in this country, who hate the Military and are copy cats.

Of all the conspiracy theories this one has to be the sickest. What happened on Flight 93? What happened is a bunch of ordinary citizens became uncommon heroes.
Why does the tin foil hat crowd have to try and take that away from those heroes? This stupid conspiracy theory become gospel over in the DUmpster for a while (and still pops up there on occasion).
I don't think that's a coincidence.

I don't see any evidence of a 10 mph breeze in that picture.

You wouldn't with 10,000 gallons of blazing jet fuel underneath that cloud of smoke. (heat rises)

Orthogonal vectors do not cancel each other. There should still be some drift due to the wind, unless it is directly into (or out of) the camera angle.
