Three people locked in an airplane bathroom? They probably thought it was a kitchen.

It seems to be a glitch in the signup system. "The Great Satan" has signup number 75639, and several users around that number have the same signup date. Sure enough. Posters with user numbers 75635 through 75642 all have bogus-glitched sign up dates of 1990. Wierd. Perhaps John will 'splain to us how sun spots reflecting off of my tin foil caused it that week.

"Just talked to a buddy on the phone, in Ft. Smith, and it's really happening." Will you call down to Palm Bay, Florida and see what's happening there with the U-Haul truck there?

All I heard was what my wife relayed over the phone. Now she is gone on an errand. Oh...the plane originated from Memphis. That's the only other detail I can remember.

Ft. Smith (AP) - Officials says all passengers are now off a Northwest Airlines jetliner that was diverted to Fort Smith.
State emergency management spokeswoman Jennifer Gordon says three people acted suspiciously during the flight, and they locked themselves in a bathroom on the aircraft. Officials negotiated with the three, and Gordon now says the three, along with passengers and crew from the plane, are now all off the aircraft.
Northwest spokeswoman Mary Beth Schubert says Flight 979, an Airbus A-320 bound from Memphis, Tennessee, to Las Vegas, departed at 8:45 a.m. The plane had 94 people aboard.
Police and firefighters surrounded the aircraft once on the tarmac at Fort Smith. No one was reported hurt.
