Washington doesn't expect much from the UN, but why did it have to be Libya? Okay, it's never going to be America or Britain, but how about Belize or Western Samoa? Why did it have to be something so utterly contemptible of reality as the elevation of Colonel Gaddafi's flunkey? If the multilateral world is irrelevant, it's because its organs -- the UN, EU, NATO -- are diseased and it has shown no willingness in the last year to address the fact."

Actually, I've got that boy right where I want him. The Steelers have gotten their tough games out of the way and have a "bye" week this week to recover from the two upsets. The rest of the schedule looks fairly lopsided in the Steelers favor. But, OTOH, the 'skins now head into the tough part of their schedule with a banged up defense and no reputable QB.

Looks like a cakewalk for the ole Sultan. Dinner at the Hotel Jefferson will taste very good!

And BTW, did ya notice how my second favorite team, the Eagles (Iggles) whupped those boys in the funny uniforms last night? If it weren't for this bet, I would almost be willing to switch my allegiance to Philadelphia - but an all-PA Super Bowl will be very special. But I digress.

And look for Ramsey to start gettin' some more reps in practice and eventually starting not too far into the season...that boys got an arm that'll make Spurrier's offense deadly, while last night we were treated to an example of why Matthews and Wuerffel were both "cheap and available."
