US threatens world peace, says Mandela (VOMITING TILL YOU DIE ALERT)
BBC News ^ | September 11, 2002 | BBC News

Posted on 09/11/2002 5:08:07 AM PDT by MadIvan

One of the world's most respected statesmen - Maybe at the BBC but not by me, gag cough spew - Ivan - Nelson Mandela, has condemned United States intervention in the Middle East as "a threat to world peace".

In an interview with the US magazine, Newsweek published on Wednesday TODAY of all days?!?! GAG COUGH SPEW! - Ivan, the former South African president repeated his call for President George Bush not to launch attacks on Iraq.

And Mr Mandela, 84, called some of Mr Bush's senior advisors, including Vice President Dick Cheney "dinosaurs".

Unlike the Communists, right Comrade Mandela? - Ivan

He said that the United States' backing for a coup by the Shah of Iran in 1953 had led to that country's Islamic revolution in 1979.

He's just ticked off that the Shah deposed some of his Communist friends - Ivan

On Afghanistan, Mr Mandela said that US support for the mujahideen (including Osama Bin Laden) against the Soviet Union and its refusal to work with the United Nations after the Soviet withdrawal led to the Taleban taking power.

Again upset about his Communist friends being shot at, seeing a pattern here... - Ivan

"If you look at those matters, you will come to the conclusion that the attitude of the United States of America is a threat to world peace," he said.

Unlike the USSR, Comrade Mandela? - Ivan

No evidence

Mr Mandela said that the US was clearly afraid of losing a vote in the United Nations Security Council.

And the UN is stacked with Communists, of course - Ivan

"It is clearly a decision that is motivated by George W Bush's desire to please the arms and oil industries in the United States of America," he said.

Anyone else hearing the strains of "The Internationale" reading this? - Ivan

He said that no evidence had been presented to support the claim that Iraq possesses weapons of mass destruction, while former UN weapons inspector in Baghdad Scott Ritter has said there is no such evidence.

"But what we know is that Israel has weapons of mass destruction. Nobody mentions that," he said.

Mandela is ticked that Israel was old South Africa's strongest allies - Ivan

The former South African leader made it clear that the only member of the Bush team he respects is Colin Powell.

The most commie of the bunch, of course - Ivan

He called Mr Cheney a "dinosaur" and an "arch-conservative" who does not want Mr Bush "to belong to the modern age."

Ah yes, Communism is so modern and dynamic in comparison, like old Leonid Brezhnev was - Ivan

Mr Mandela recalled that Mr Cheney had been opposed to his release from prison.

Bravo, Mr. Cheney - Ivan

I've commented heavily, but I'll finish off by saying that this is in supreme bad taste on Mandela's part, and this tells us all we need to know about the people who are running modern South Africa - they're leftist scum.

Regards, Ivan

In Johannesburg, Mandela snuggles with, receives orders from,
and surrenders to Iraq's Tariq Aziz.

LOL! Great post, Ivan! Nelson Mandela ought to get his own damn house in order before trying to be a "world leader".

America got Mandela out of prison, allowed him to resume as the leader for blacks in south africa. Now they have taken over South Africa. The country has gone to hell. Crime is rampant. Socialist takeovers of caucasian owned property is imminent, with violence against white people. Perhaps Mandella was in prison for other reasons, but civil rights was his scapegoat. Much like other cases here in America.

We made a big mistake getting Mandela out of prison. Now we see his gratitude for the assistance of Americans to end apartheid in South Africa. How unfortunate.

Ivan,

The ONLY thing that made this filth-encrusted article palatable was the insertion of your "pithy" comments.

Can you blame Mandela for trying to turn attention elsewhere? Look at the terrible results of his "world class leadership" in South Africa.

What a piece of garbage he is. What do ya expect though from a guy who's only claim to fame was going to prison?

Gee, could it possibly because Colin Powell is a black man?

Mandella and Kofi Anon are two of a kind. Just like Bill Clinton, I wish that they would go away.

“...who does not want Mr Bush "to belong to the modern age."

Mandela wants the west to eat salted sticks and sugared dirt like most of Africa.

South Africa will soon go the way of Zimbabwe.

They ended arpartheid but couldn't refrain from cooking the goose that laid the golden eggs. So sad.

Great post. Loved your comments.

I have one question though. Who's this Nelson Mandela dude? I've heard of South Africa of course, it's one of the countries in Africa that used to have a good economy and great industry and food for everyone but now has impending famine and economic collapse and violence run rampant. Natives got restless and peed in their own beer. Hey! Is Mandela one of the restless natives maybe?

God Save America (Please)
