Rationale:
The ground troops have the best advantage on a moonless night. The cruise missiles and guided munitions do not know night from day. There will be @ 3 days of heavy air bombardment to preceed the ground assault which will occur on the moonless night.

It will come on a Friday or Saturday night in order to minimize the number of Americans at work in our cities the next day.
It will come on a night with little or no moon in order to maximize the advantage of darkness.
It will come before this year's hot season.
And we had best be ready for a biological attack on our homeland. Literally millions could die if we are not. The risk is huge.

Having seen the troops gathering from around the world on his borders and in the area - my guess is Saddam will try to join other exiled dictators and enjoy his ill-gotten gains - Bush doesn't want war, no one wants war, but our President means what he says--Saddam must disarm and folks he will - by leaving his country.
