Place your bet as to when the attack will begin.

Whoever gets closest to the date and time wins.

Attack time must be specified in Month, Day, Year, Hour, and Minute

For the hour, don't forget to specify what time zone you are referring to.

There is no decision on a prize to be awarded yet except for bragging rights.

Sadam is sequestered by the end of January to Bahgdad. Sepc Ops set up shop in the North with provisional Government. Sadam and his cronies are dead at the hands of Iraqis by the end of February. No Trial. No Circus. No Massacre. No protracted bombing campaign. No slug fest ground war. Russia gets paid back. US taps oil to pay for expenses. Iran crumbles within two years.

I agreee with you on the date. Feb 15th, 2003, and the approximate time, but to tighten it up a bit, I will say the attack will begin about 6:42PM, and we will be glued to our sets by 7:15 PM EST.

I like January 29th, 3:10 A.M Baghdad time.
The attack will have to come at night for two reasons; the element of surprise with night vision of course, but also to eliminate civilian casualties.

Jan 29th gives the inspectors two days to get the heck outta there after their Jan. 27th report, plus it's closing in on a new moon. Should be nice and dark for our guys. ;-}

With the finding of the missiles, the US now has the reason to start the bombing.

It will begin on the next new moon on 1st February 2003 at approximately: 3am Baghdad time, which is approximately 7pm EST.

Just in time for Prime Time.

So all you TV advertisers better get booked up with CNN, Fox, ABC, MSNBC etc. as it will be super expensive once it starts.

I new something was coming when I saw the Russians running to Baghdad the other day, they have not done this without lots of notice since the last gulf war, it also would not suprice me if we found that the Russians had built their WMD and have been protecting their own investments by protecting Sadam and delaying things at the UN, now they know the game is well and truley UP.

I chose this because of the new moon and being after 1/27/03. No other reason.

"W" has all he needs to go now IMHO, but he and the Brits (feigning reluctance - I hope) have done a great job totally painting a confusing picture as to when the bell rings. Hope SadDumb et al. is as confused as I am!

I know two former submariners. My brother in law was a chief engineer on a nuke sub. He became an officer and then taught at Great Lakes academy, before retiring after 21 years. My best friend was a leutenant on one and retired after 14 years.

I also know a current submariner. My first cousin, once removed (son of my cousin) is on a sub.
