I honestly thought that Teddy dunked two in lake Chappaquiddick (and this may be the first time I've spelled that right). I may be wrong.

Anyway, good article as always.

You are aware of the helicopter crash in which he and Indiana Senator Birch Bayh were injured, and in which the pilot was killed, and all sorts of loose cash was found scattered with the wreckage. Interesting coincidence....

"Ann is good at throwing at the red meat to the true believers, but she is a true demagogue. Liberals are evil?"

Well it can't be denied Liberals at the least support "evil" in the name of Clinton, Daschle, McKinney, ad infinitim. Ann does have a point...

When Bush named the Department of Justice building after Robert Kennedy, Kerry Kennedy Cuomo displayed the renowned Kennedy graciousness by viciously attacking the Bush administration at a pre-dedication ceremony. Noting that her daughter was in the audience, Kennedy Cuomo said: "Kara, if anyone tries to tell you this is the type of justice system your grandpa embraced, you just don't believe it."

This is as we have come to expect from a family of heroin addicts, statutory rapists, convicted and unconvicted female-killers, cheaters, bootleggers and dissolute drunks known as "Camelot." Why would anyone want such people as their "good friends"?

President Bush's apologists claim that he only sucks up to Ted Kennedy and the Democrats as a tactical ploy to win over their support on issues he deems critical. We can see how far this has gotten him. The Dems won't even allow most of his judicial nominees to come up for confirmation.

President Ronald Reagan would take 75% of what he wanted and continue to fight for the rest. Bush has been giving the Dems much of what they want and does not seem to be getting anything in return.

On the other hand, if Sean's style keeps him positive and thats how he motivates himself and it works for him then he should continue with his strategy. It's in politics itself that we really need to stop being so nicey nice.

Is it a coincidence that the Democrats demand an apology for the truth about trashing the White House on the way out, and the Soviets used to exaggerate and lie, and now we finally notice that muslims use the same rhetorical tool? IS it just me?

only one thing wrong with liberals: They're no good.

The 'brainwashed' sheeple who follow and empower the demokrats are no good either. They know what's going on. Their daily lives are just as disfunctional as the ideology they vote for.

They aren't so much brainwashed as they are willfully deceived. And to be willfully, deliberately self deceived, is evil.

I wasn't aware of that one. Were any of the bills rolled up in a straw-like tube?

What is it with these Kennedys and motorized transportation anyways? Cars, boats, planes, helicopters; none of them seem to stay put.

I am also saddled with liberal relatives, a cause of much unfortunate friction at family gatherings. To me, they are not evil, they (at least in my relatives' case) think differently. They cannot do math very well. And Eucludian logic seems to escape them as well. Trying to establish that words have specific meaning is difficult, so even having a meaningful (in my mind) dialog with them is difficult. Bringing up politics often results in an emotional blitzkrieg (from left field), so prior to any get togethers, I am prewarned to keep clear.

Ann Coulter referred to these traits when she declares that no effective debate can be had between conservatives and liberals. The liberals cannot work out solutions to problems, or evaluate consequences of policy; they don't even regard that policy decisions should be based on reasoning and evaluation of the (body politic) payoffs. They are children, and should be spanked!

Unchastised and uncorrected, they toddle off to the polling booths and vote, thereby affecting our collective destiny (unless flummoxed by the devious butterfly ballot). Unfortunately, they are easy prey for the cynical politician. How else would we live through the absurdity of soccer moms defending a perverted liar, rapist, and serial woman abuser in the White House? (While defending him, my all too liberal Aunt accused me of "perhaps being jealous" of the big creep). How else the absurdity of SUV drivers voting for he who hates the internal combustion engine?

I've had enough of them, for sure! Yuk!

Thanks for the effort.

It's been well over a week that Limbaugh said something to the effect that a professor found that the murder rate per county with a capita of 100,000 was something like 6 or 7 times as great in the counties won by Gore as those by Bush.

In other words, for every 24 murders in a Gore county, there were 4 in a Bush county.

I hope somebody can provide a source......other than me.

Thanks again for your help.

A professor broke down the crime statistics by Bush/Gore counties.

That's what I'm looking for.

I would like to clarify the terms here. Some have replied partially about the details. Here it goes:

Democrat, Liberal, Leftist

There seems to be some confusion about understanding factions of the political left. The distinctions between these are both blurred and clear. Republicans and conservatives are served better by understanding the differences. Whether arguing a political point at a family gathering or engaging in a national presidential campaign, the right side has a greater chance of getting a point across or defeating a political opponent with a clear scope of the political landscape.

The label of "democrat" is the broadest definition of these. This can apply to a non- voting person who casually associates his political views with the Democrat party all the way to the extreme arch-socialist. Within this definition lies the basic belief that the Democrat party is the party that best serves America, obviously. Serving America is generally focused on the "common man" as opposed to the "rich man". Largely associated with the term "Democrat" is the belief that government intervention is often the best answer to all grievances, desires and ills of citizens and communities. Democrats hold on to the belief that the Democrat party serves the disadvantaged and average citizen and that the Republican party serves the wealthy and powerful.

"Liberal" is the more contemporary term for people who dominate the Democrat party. Liberals today have there lofty ideas and ideals by which they see the world as it should be. In a phrase, they are Marxists. You could say socialists, too. Nevertheless, they believe that since they care more about certain issues, that they hold the moral high ground of politics. Caring is coping - to a Liberal. Their dislike for the Republicans are due to two primary reasons. The first is that Republicans are often pointing out the error of their ways, particularly when it comes to fiscal responsibility. The second reason is that Liberals find the Religious right quite frightening. The irony is that the "love your neighbor" ethic that the Liberals espouse has its roots clearly in Christianity a la the good Samaritan. They reject the religious right because it calls for accountability as well as "love your neighbor". That accountability says that you must be faithful to your spouse, you must avoid breaking the law, avoid homosexuality, avoid lying and avoid going into debt. These requirements are sacrilege to liberals. Yet, a good liberal knows when enough is enough. Which leads to the last definition.

Leftists - These are the true scoundrels. They range from devious all the way to downright to evil. These are the nearest thing to communists. Most Democrat politicians and activists, at least at the national level, are leftists. The liberals go along with them because they are fellow travelers; they think. The leftist is nothing more than a political opportunist. They will take power any way that they can get it. They dupe the liberals and Democrats and anybody else with sappy slogans (I feel your pain) and false sincerity about the issues. They could not care less than they do about these issues. They are after power. They find that buying votes in the democratic process is the most optimum of paths to this power. If seizing power by bloody revolution would work for them, they would do it, immediately. (Does anybody out there doubt that with someone like Hillary Clinton?). These are the ones that we are really fighting.

So, there you have it. Flame away

What kills me is that my brother has a Masters' Degree in Geology. He's no dummy WRT math and science. But he was a student of the late 60's/ early 70's so he did live college during the height of extreme liberalism. Funny thing is that we agree on most anything except for environmental issues where he is convinced that only the democRATs can be right. He even fell for global warming. Of course, he's a into the Sierra Club scene so he is getting bombarded with highly suspect information.

We generally just avoid political topics now, though he did throw a barb at Florida's Atty General Katherine Harris last time I was down there to visit. He claimed that she broke Florida's election law. P'ed me off and I layed into him about Gore's orchestrated effort, the lawyers, the phone calls, the simple balloting system, the biased Fla supreme court, all that stuff. I'll not have anybody spreading lies about the election.

Kara Kennedy showed no class whatsoever in making such a remark at a occassion like that. She lowered herself, not President Bush by acting the tart.

Sean Hannity is a truly nice person. His good manners and humanity abound on his radio show. He means well, and although I agree with Ann, I commend Sean's decency. Sometimes it is better to be a nice guy as opposed to a Kara Kennedy.

Depending on the birth rate and how often the dead are removed from voter rolls, this could be good for the republican party.
