Thus the 'concerns' about her bluntness and slams at her 'style'. Bah. Take it somewhere else.Well, you brought it up here, so I just have one comment. :)
I love reading Ann Coulter. She expresses the things I think and feel but find myself unable to articulate the way she does. There have been one or two occasions when I have been disappointed with hyperbolic, bizarre comparisons she has made - most notably, standing in an airport security line to the Bataan Death March.
I have absolutely no problem with what she says about liberals. Anyone who thinks liberals aren't saying similar things about us is woefully ignorant. I have a liberal friend who once had the nerve to remark directly to me that there was "no such thing as a nice Republican". And she's one of the nicer ones.
Liberals play hardball 100% of the time and it's far past time to give them some of it back and quit acting as if we're dealing with friendly, well-meaning people who 'just don't understand. Maybe Aunt Tilly who's voted Democrat since 1948 becuase her parents loved FDR is ignorant about the real nature of liberalism but not a James Carville. That's who Coulter refers to here, as I see it.
Agreed. A lot of the people who vote for Democrats, I believe, do so out of blissful ignorance. An involved, informed Democrat deserves every insult Ann tosses their way.

And that is equally true for the treacly suburban preacher ...This is the guy who is more guilty than anyone else for the 'slippery slope' to destruction we are on in the USA.

If what you claim is true about the Democrat rank and file, that makes them recklessly irresponsible, and therefore no better--and maybe even worse--than those who attempt to manipulate them.

Ann's examples are all about Democrat politicians. I don't think Sean was really referring to them when he talks about "most liberals". He's talking about the rank and file types who believe what the elites say. Probably a more accurate way to put it would be most liberals think they are good, and believe what they want are good things. They are not liberal out of malice, but out of misplaced altruism. The liberal elites know better, but cynically manipulate them to get their way. Very well said. Yours is the best analysis I have read on this issue.
Yes, Coulter seems to be addressing the liberal elites, not the rank-and-file. And she is dead-on correct.

In post 45 you said, "The evil liberals who set the agenda and organize things mainly behind the scenes do not approach even 1% of the population( they'd also be easily stoppable if all those on the right really decided to get serious about destroying them but this won't happen as Ayn Rand said truely and deliberately evil men are rare its the appeasers who unleashe them on mankind). I will submit to you that even Clinton was just a good ol boy puppet of theres and not truely one of the real liberal agenda setters( Hillary is one however)." (P)
This is a good call. Since Nazi analogies appear to be popular, I will equate Boy Clinton with the self-indulgent scoundrel Goering and the Hildabeast with Hitler. While we're at it, I think to be historically accurate we would have to say Katie Couric is an "affable Dr Goebbels in an attractive female package" rather than Eva Braun. I kinda feel Ann was going for agitation with her comment rather than a historically accurate analogy. The worst thing the Eva Braun comment does as a historical analogy is to say that Katie is naive and not too bright. In reality Katie is solidly in the ranks of those Ann is trashing in this article and she is a willing and active mouthpiece for their propaganda. Based on what I read in Albert Speer's "Inside the Third Reich" I don't think Eva had a clue as to the monstrous evil of the man she loved.
