"Yeah, we're in the global system, courtesy of George W. Bush's New World Order." Oh brother. Bush has only told the UN to get stuffed regarding its International Ban on Small Arms Traficking Treaty (read: the death to the 2nd Amendment if the U.S. ratifies it), pulled the U.S. out of the CCCP-U.S. ABM Treaty, killed U.S. involvement in the Kyoto Treaty, and told the EU to bugger-off regarding their International Criminal Court.
Oh yeah, like that's really promoting globalism. < /SARCASM >
Grow up and start paying attention to what is really going on in the world rather than the paranoia that is apparently rampant inside your own head.
Anyone who thinks that killing the Kyoto Treaty and backing out of the ABM Treaty comprises "globalism" is, at best, woefully under-educated...

"I hoped they filmed him or recorded him actually saying this. This is by definition, treason." As for me, I'm glad your statement is on the record. It's one of the dumbest things I've ever read.

...who prefer John McCain and other doofuses. ...dufuses or dufi. Either way, I agree. Good points raised.

What in my post was funny? Of the things I listed, what has Bush addressed? Are you suggesting that we have no military capability. We are defenseless? When will our military capabilities be rebuilt, after Bush leaves office? Bush is no more effective in foreign affairs or domestic affairs the Clinton. As a matter of fact, he looks more like clinton every day. Even his supporters sound like the clintonistas.

"Bush told us that he is starting a war on terroriorism. He has told the countries of the world that if they harbor the terriorists that they are our enemies. He said that they were either with us or against us. He has done nothing." Perhaps your Taliban handlers died before they could tell you that Bush killed them in Afghanistan...

#71 is also for you.

Then we must assume that any ongoing acts of terror that occur in the United States are acts of god which are only meant to enhance our resolve in dealing with the acts of terror that are visited upon us. As they say, GOD acts in mysterious ways.

Did we kill Bin Laden too?. The last I read, he was in Pakistan. Gee do you suppose that the Pakistanis are harboring him. Gee do you think that Bush will go after him.
So we killed a few camel jockies in Afghanistan. So did bill clinton. Aren't we wonderful.

If GOD were really with us, he would not have allowed 911 to happen. God doesn't prevent human actions, "he" merely provides guidance. In the end, it's still up to us to behave properly and righteously. 9-11 was only preventable to the extent that the atackers had a change of heart, or the attackees (us) had the necessary preventative measures in place. Neither occurred. That is not God's "fault", it's "ours".

Yes, that's him. He was saying unflattering remarks about Clinton at the time, and while he was flying his plane his propeller mysteriously fell off, but he was such a good pilot that he managed to land safely.

You need to read "Why Bad Things Happen to Good People" written by a Rabbi some years ago. God does let bad things happen mostly because he wants us to work things out for ourselves. " Great suggestion. The book you cite, a pamphlet really, is a stroke of genius. It sets the table quite well.

Then how can we tell if GOD is on our side.

Ya gotta love the guy's spirit! And that name... Hackworth... truly fitting of a Col.! Can't think of many people, who I don't really know, that I would invite to my home for a card game and/or dinner. But Hack would be one. He's a stand-up guy.
Many that I have met here at FR would also be welcome. Not that I am hitting on you or anything. But if I did, I would get into a lot of trouble at home! :O)
To: Mad_Tom_Rackham
Hack would be an excellent dinner guest!
And I certainly wouldn't want you to get into any trouble at home... ;)

Please are you really that ignorant or are you 12 years old. Just look around, the USA has been blessed in every way. Now turn and look at the countries dominated by islam. There's your answer.

Perhaps the Senator is leaking because the administration told him to? That also happens. Otherwise, he needs to be removed from his sensitive committees.

I really feel sorry for the people who feel as you. It will be a sad day for all of you when Bush is no longer in office and the problems of the middle east and of world wide terrorism have gone unsolved and unanswered. Who will you blame then?

I am now wondering the same thing. If Imhofe said an attack is imminent, it could mean that it has already started.
