On the whole, NO, except for those illegals who have served in our military. For some reason, once we, as a country, have accepted that these folk are OK to serve in OUR military to protect OUR country, I tend to accept giving them special consideration for citizenship.

So do I. I would also support a moratorium on immigration until we get a grip on the mess that we currently have in the United States. I also have no problem with placing the military on the border until we can beef up the Border Patrol.

I not only oppose any amnesty for all illegals, I oppose making a baby an American citizen if their parent sneaks across the border to have the child born in an American hospital or if they are here illegally and have a child born on American soil.

If one of my three children had been born in another county, I would not have expected that child to have anything but an American citizenship. Likewise I don't expect non-American citizens that have children born in American hospitals here in the States to have their babies be given American citizenship. This is not the 1700 or 1800's. This is the 21st Century!

As simply and concisely as I can state...NO!
IMO if someone desires to immigrate to the US they should do so legally. I admit I'm rather indecisive on work visas/green cards. At least those folks are following the intent of the laws. I still feel that Americans suffer from such programs and we should look after our own first.

Amnesty for lawbreakers?! For those who believe so, then, by that line of reasoning we should give amnesty to everyone who commits a crime. And, that's just for starters. What about the debilitating effects illegal invaders and their offspring have on American society, American institutions, American culture, and the American taxpayer?! Ronald Reagan gave amnesty to illegal invaders in the 1980's and look at the results. By that measure alone it only encouraged more invaders to flock here.

No. Enough of transforming America into a basketcase. The liberals have done enough all by themselves.
