Saddam is prepared to use weapons of mass destruction ? chemical, biological and nuclear ? against U.S. and coalition military forces in the event of an attack on Iraq and an incursion into Baghdad, the capital.

If that happens I'm sure we'll respond by harassing more of our own scientists.

The thought of this Administration responding in kind is laughable.

If I were going to write a Tom Clancy type book about bio-warfare, I would have a two part weapon. Part one would be to infect the desired population with relatively harmless virus that would have a deadly consequence only after the desire population is exposed to part two of the attack.

I'm thinking West Nile Virus, what better way than to have a little mosquito do all the prepatory work. More of us have already been exposed to WNV than we realize, now, we're just waiting for part two. (Anyone scared yet?)

I was arguing with my mother in law (hehehe) who is over for a couple of weeks from Germany. The nature of our argument was about the Germans not wanting to help out in the war against Islam by helping us crush Saddam. She is basically in this mindset since WWII that all war is bad and should be avoided at all costs. She doesn't have much to say when I point out that if war could produce that pacifistic attitude in Germans it could also produce the same effect on the barbarous savages in the Middle East.

Anyway, she's in favor of appeasing the Arabs and pointing out to her that western appeasement of Hitler is what led to the destruction of Germany doesn't do any good.

I ask her what she's going to do if we let Saddam develop his bio weapons into a useable product and then deliver it to the Frankfurt Airport- she shrugs her shoulders. I sh!t you not, she just throws up her hands and shrugs her shoulders. It makes me want to grab the nearest sledgehammer and...

For all the elected "doves" out there in Congress who don't want to attack Saddam let me say this: I'd like you all sign a statement saying that WHEN he uses these weapons the blood and guts of his victims are on your hands.

The longer we wait the further along his WMD programs become and the greater threat he becomes to Americans and humans all over the world.

You know... if Hussein manages to spread a contagious virus among his neighboring camel jockeys, they're not going to be exactly viewing him as the savior of Islam - no matter how many evil idolators he manages to kill in the process.

Not that he'll care if his back is against the wall, but still, it'll likely have a considerable "Chilling Effect" on their ardor for "Islamic Jihad" (particularly considering the advanced state of their third-world bug-country "Medical Facilities"...).
