Godspeed to RWR, the great number 40.
May the Lord of Hosts receive him warmly into the Kingdom, and may His Spirit comfort the family.

The campaign must begin for the:
Ronald Reagan One Dollar Coin
The P.C. one dollar coins foisted upon us have both failed. A Reagan dollar would be instantly popular.
The Democrats did not waste anytime putting their icon FDR on the dime. The Reagan dollar should be put up for a vote in Congress as soon as Ronald Reagan dies.

With this news, I have recall where Jesus said "The rain falls on the just and unjust alike."
God Bless you, Mr. Reagan. May the road rise to meet you, may the wind always be at your back, and may the rain fall gently upon your fields...and, when you finally shuffle off of this mortal coil, may you be in Paradise a week before the Devil realizes you've gone missing.

I sure hope he dies when Bush is in office instead of a Clinton. He was a great man and Loved God, his Wife and Country. Other than Maureen, and Michael somewhat, his kids are pretty bad.

I send my beloved President a kiss to his forehead...my love and best wishes to the Reagan family.

What sad news. What a tragic and undeserved end for such a good man; such a great American.
Godspeed to you, Mr. Reagan.

May the passing of Ronald Reagan maintain the same grace and understated dignity that typified his life. God bless, Mr. President.

RWR will always have a special place in my heart.
My first election to vote in, and I picked RWR all on my own.

I quite a bit of time with my college room mate at the bedside of her mother who had Alzheimers. She wasn't taking food and pneumonia was a constant threat. She was drawn up in a fetal position and most of the time had her eyes shut. Hari Mandir and I sang old hymms to her from the RLDS hymnal... her mother had been very active in the church for decades. She openned her eyes and seemed to smile. We sang for about an hour until she went into a deep sleep. The next morning, Hari Mandir called and said that she had slipped away in the night. I think our singing helped her on her journey. Never assume that these folks don't have some awareness of what is going on.

You know how it is when you are a child and you look at your Grandpa and think there is no way that guy is ever going to die. Then you grow up and have to find out, the hard way, that even Grandpa gets old and dies. Sad then, sad now. Here's to what you gave us, Mr. President, and hoping that we never forget and never let it die.

As I watch my children grow and become more and more enlightened as to what virtue, morals, and ethics really are, the more things like this bother me. Ronald Reagan truly shown brightly as a beacon of decency and clear thought. Only in the past few years have people really begun to understand what he did for this country, including myself.
The thought of the Gipper leaving us is truly difficult to bear.
Yes President Ronald Wilson Reagan the man is fading away. So did George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and other greats. While others slip into oblivion, the personna of Reagan has pealed away. The best of what the man offered to the nation remains behind. We are assured that despite all odds, if we will pursue the lofty goals that guide our course, we can achieve anything. Would any of us have been as assured of this without the example of Ronald Wilson Reagan?

Leave it to that stellar news organization , Newsmax, to come up with a tacky headline.

Godspeed to the Gipper, and with all due compassion, I pray he is taken from this earth soon. Godbless Nancy too, I have never had more respect for her than I do now, she is a gracious lady who shows a courage and strength that I believe the majority of Americans never knew she had.
