MUSLIM MERCHANTS BOYCOTT NEW YORK POST
Muslim and Arab-American merchants in the New York City area report to CAIR they are boycotting sales of the New York Post because of that newspaper's alleged anti-Muslim, anti-Arab bias and the failure of editors to offer sufficient right-of-reply to negative articles.
Boycott organizers say almost 500 merchants are taking part in the campaign by refusing to sell the Post in their newsstands, grocery stories or other businesses. In Staten Island alone, some 100 merchants have joined the boycott.
The campaign apparently began spontaneously, but is now coordinated by a Brooklyn-based organization called the Arab-American Muslim Federation.
Representatives of the group recently met with Post officials, but could not resolve their differences.

I believe you're mistaken. These are merchants living in the evil West; the very epitomy of the fabled, mythical, 'moderate' muslim.
Another indiction of their incomprehension of living in a modern, diverse society with a plurality of viewpoints competing in the marketplace of ideas.
They're free to boycott the paper but then they should not scream when people start to boycott their stores.
If I wuz a NooYawker, i would make it a point to ask if the store is run by Hindus, or Buddhists from China, Cambodia or Vietnam or any nonislamic place and walk another block to avoid patronizing a store that refuses to sell the Post.
I wonder if they boycott Playboy and Penthouse too....
How can they b****? Look at all the s*** that comes out of the arab press about all nonmuslims.

...five year period during which they pay no taxes. A friend of mine, who was a superviser in a factory which employed a lot of non-english speaking workers...told me that it is true. Not only that...but if they leave the country and come back...it begins another five "tax free" years. He says THEY told him about this.
Wouldn't it be nice if people who were born here, could get this same benefit at least ONCE in their whole tax paying lives?

>some radical Muslim Einstein bombed a ketchup bottling facility in India.
Could this be the reason for the introduction of Green Ketchup. After all, green is a strongly symbolic color in islam. The flag of Saud is green, as is part of Pakistan's.
tomatoes or is it tomahtos as unislamic LOL! Must be brutal being a satire writer these days....If nutty muslims didn't exist, MontyPython would have made them up....

>of their minority status they receive a five year period during which they pay no taxes.
I think that's garbage. They may get SBA loans, or tax breaks for locating in an inner city, but NO-ONE gets a break from the IRS,

You two keep this up and "you're going to put me in a early grave."

Really, if you walk into a store run by Muslims, you ought to take your business elsewhere.Local mini mart nearby was dropped by Coca Cola after 9-11 antics the delivery man observed.
It is now closed along with ALL the other local islamakazie owned businesses in our town.
Good Ridance Camel F'ers.

Someone is always mad at The Post. A few years ago, the Sharpton crowd started something called "Post Busters" because they said the paper's policy of printing "perp walk" pictures of the Central Park rapists, who almost killed a white jogger, was "racist."
Guess what? It didn't do a bit of harm. Blacks weren't reading the paper anyway, so they couldn't boycott it.
A good rule: If a store won't sell you a ham sandwich or a beer, take your business elsewhere -- after you tell 'em that only a moron religion stops a man from having a cool one on a hot day.

The flag of Saud is green So's my handkerchief -- except that it's a damn site more edifying than those sand goblins' national symbol.

"We don't have Sunoco down here (Atlanta) - any idea about any other chains? (Either nationals or regionals like QuikTrip)"How about Citgo? They supposedly don't get their oil from the Mideast either. They're owned by Venezuela's national oil company, so they probably don't.

"Local mini mart nearby was dropped by Coca Cola after 9-11 antics the delivery man observed"Oh, yeah...I remember that. That was a GREAT story.

In Staten Island alone, some 100 merchants have joined the boycott. So find another spot to sell the NYPost. Take the foot traffic away from them!
They aren't thinking like businessmen, that's for sure. Maybe they should go home.

There was this Arab who owned a Gas Station by my work. On or about Spetember 12, 2001 he had a Giant American Flag posted outside his door and he was selling American Flags as soon as he could get some. He had American flag buttons and pins within a week. This guy wanted nothing to do with these cockroaches. He was an arab/AMERICAN.

Really, if you walk into a store run by Muslims, you ought to take your business elsewhere. I've been doing it since September -- and it's not easy, especially in New York City and New Jersey.

TM can answer for himself,
but as for me, having just checked out your profile,
it would appear that
you don't think that way.
however, until i see a couple million of your co-'religion'ists
publicly espousing similar views, all muslims are suspect.
am i 'pre-judging' ? no
am i discriminating ? you bet your ass i am !

Perhaps the counter-protesters can paint crescents on their shop windows so that everyone knows where not to shop.
