Pssst , Buddy? Wanna see a poll :-? LOL

The Bay Area results are a little misleading....it's not that so many people are undecided, it's just that they go both ways.

I really like how GraYouT Davi$ IS saturation broadcasting the same dumb attack ads on Simon. He is really separating himself from Simon as he keeps up all the vicious slanderous misrepresentations on his opponent. Yes, This is definitely money well-spent by the DeViou$ One.
Keep It Up, GraYouT!!

I wonder if this poll was before Gray decided to dump toxins in their water in exchange for a bribe?

Bay Area - Davis 53% , Simon 38%. 9% undecidedThis is the real news. If the "bay area" is defined as substantially San Francisco and Marin counties then this is very bad news for Davis since these two counties typically have voted near 80% for incumbent, Democratic, gubernatorial candidates.
Even if the "east bay" is included these numbers have got to be a monumental dissappointment for the Davis campaign.

Yup, how many weeks at 1.5 million a week have they been running those attack ads? LOL ..
GraYouT is so skrewed, the only thing left is to become a nice guy.. Problem IS, No one will buy that either. :-)

Latest News10/SurveyUSA Poll Shows Tight Governor's Race
The latest News10/SurveyUSA election poll shows Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Simon opening a narrow lead over incumbent Gov. Gray Davis.
Pollsters asked 861 likely California voters whom they would vote for if the election were held today. The results show Simon in a narrow lead, with 46.7 percent of those surveyed saying they plan to vote for Simon. Davis garnered 45.4 percent, while 7.9 percent were undecided. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.4 percent.
Simon's lead was greatest in the Central Valley and inland Southern California, while Davis had the most support in the Bay Area and Los Angeles.
The poll showed strong support for Davis among minorities, with 72 percent of Black voters and 52 percent of Hispanic voters intending to vote for him. Whites preferred Simon by a margin of 50 to 44 percent, with 7 percent undecided.
The responses also showed support for the candidates split along gender lines. The poll revealed that 50 percent of men prefer Simon, while 44 percent plan to vote for Davis. The situation is reversed among women voters, with 47 percent opting for Davis and 43 percent intending to vote for Simon.

Well ... with all the government workers complaining and the San Jose Mercury News front-paging a story about the payoff to Davis to allow a polluter to dump his toxic waste in the ocean - Simon could make up significant ground in the Bay Area.

You mean this ...

72 percent of Black voters and 52 percent of Hispanic voters intending to vote for him. That doesn't look like good news for Davis at all. He should have much higher number than that.
To: Republican Wildcat
That's what I thought; the Simon strategy of targeting minorities is paying off!
It should be about 90% for blacks and 70% for hispanics if he was to get the same results Gore did in his Presidential run. Those are horrifying numbers for Davis.
Apparently not even his base likes him.

GrayDown's leading in the Bay Area, but its not overwhelming. He should be polling better than 60% and its surprising Bill Simon is competitive in one of the most liberal areas in the state. 38% is high for a Republican candidate. To be sure GrayDown thinks he will win a double digit victory in November. Which only goes to show the denial of reality he's in, especially when you consider he gets barely over 50% in his strongest region, the Bay Area!

Isn't it about time for another Field Poll showing Davis up by 12-15 points? :-D

Beautiful picture.
Put that next to an SUV, which Davis wants to tax even more to save the environment.
If this were the movie "2001" HAL would go nuts.
