I watched the entire news conference - BUSH -1; media -0!! But the funniest camera shot was when the reporter sitting next to "frog" Helen Thomas asked the Pres. if Clinton was at fault for the Wall Street corruption since it started while he was in office. If looks could kill, the one from the "frog" to that reporter would have done the job. I laughed out loud!!!!!

Pitt must be finding some really bad things on some CEO's the way the RATS and mccain are acting. Tells me the way they are whining and yelling, he has uncovered some things.
Brit Hume -- never heard anything new in the Harkin questions! YEAH for Brit!

I'm thinking this may be a too-high expectation until Congress meets November elections. Well then they need to work more hours instead of these 3/4 days a week
If the military can do it .. so can they
We pay their (congress) salary .. it's about time the earned it

"No way in hell a responsible President would put a cabinet member in a position like that unless he knew he was absolutely safe." No offense but osama isnt superman. Sound like you equate osama to be ramboesque or something.

I was just getting on FR and saw the thread; started reading, not looking at names of posters, just reading to catch up to the conference he gave; the first post criticizing Bush was 54. Guess who?!
And it was a general criticization; no specifics, even oblivious to the rest of the comments on the thread and also the interview Bush was giving at the time, LIVE!
Lockstep? No, more like there is a broken record going on and on and on...

Any CEOs prosecuted might be under pressure to plead guilty, or at least not to take the stand. Otherwise they might end up being Arkancided.

Bush is a man of charater, if he KNEW that OBL was wormfood, he'd say it now IMHO...The danger of anyone playing politics with this type of info is great...didn't Bubba bomb an aspirin factory to divert attention? withholding info for "the right time" would be wrong... Rob i said it earlier ..the bleeding hearts will demand us out of the entire Mid east and we will have new terror on our shores before Bush 8 years are up. Get with the bigger picture!

"We HAVE to get the Senate back!"ABSOLUTELY!!

He makes so much sense. He makes the press and the RATS look like fools. I have noticed that the pressies are making an effort to ask somewhat more mature and intelligent questions lately. I think a few of them have gotten slapped around by their editors and other bosses, telling them to do their homework before asking questions, etc. They could get away with sloppiness and sleaze and verbal flatulence with x42 but W comes in crispy, tidy, clean, informed, and unafraid to let them look like fools. hehe

Lilly continued, "In July of this year, the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) worked with the European Union bureaucrats to kill Worldcom's proposed acquisition of Sprint. This activism cost investors more than $100 billion, and now these bureaucrats have set their sites on the proposed merger between Time Warner and AOL. The shift in policymaking from legislation to litigation creates uncertainty and havoc for investors, and discourages the very type of innovation that has driven our new economy." To date, the reverberations of the Clinton/Gore administration's attack on the high-tech economy do not seem to have reached beyond the technology industry, but given how quickly the repercussions were felt throughout the technology sector, it is only a matter of time before the entire economy feels the impact of the radical intervention approach of the Clinton/Gore administration," said Lilly.
ONE TRILLION IN SHAREHOLDER VALUE DESTROYED - CLINTON/GORE ASSAULT ON HIGH-TECH INDUSTRY HAS COST AMERICAN INVESTORS MORE THAN $1 TRILLION ATR, Americans for Tax Reform, Nov. 2000.
Do we need to ask why the press didn't ask the Clinton/Gore administration about their business dealings? Or about the telecom industry pardons handed out by Clinton? Spin is one thing...intentionally working to destroy our President with lies and innuendo during wartime is another.

And of course, his loyalty to the people he appoints makes an attack on them an attack on him.
And we know how attacks on Bush work...
NOT WELL.

Re: CEO Arkancide....
It sure would be a better campaign finance reform vehicle wouldn't it? CEO's would think twice before selling their soul away with investors cash.
To: winnipeg
He probably would be re-elected if he stays. But with the new constitution and the real chance for statehood, he might well be folding his tent.

Too bad I missed the Press Conference. I heard he handled the Harkin Energy questions quite well.
I loved the NAACP question. I heard he hit that one out of the park by mentioning Powell and Rice. You know, one day the black leadership makes a nice gesture and gives a "President's Award" to Condi Rice. Then they revert to type and start screaming "klansman" again.
Some things never change.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

So, are you saying that you agree with Howlin and that you don't have a problem with the Federal Government running our Health Care Industry?
