President Bush, along with his wife, Laura, and daughter, Jenna, departed today for their annual trip to Kennebunkport, Maine. Well-wishers gave the President an early birthday send off today since Bush will be spending his birthday, July 6th, in Maine. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Wow, what a treat to get pictures from both of you. Thank you very much. Barney looks like he was a pistol today and Walker's Point is beautiful.

Hi, CS. The only thing wrong with FR is that there are too many good threads to keep up with.

Here's the north side of the house.....Miss Marple, the rocks came from here!
The gates and guardhouse at the base of the peninsula....
These houses are toward the base of the Point, a little bit east of the guardhouse. There was a lot of activity around here (note the SUV's), but no Bushes! They took golfcarts from here up to the house, which is at the end of the Point.

I nearly had heart failure when I saw the purple tie. That's not "ours" though, is it? Didn't "ours" have some green in it and was a lighter shade?
