The sad thing is this: that really wouldn't surprise me a bit. I fear that the "sleeping giant" won't wake in time to prevent what's coming down the road... what's next, our currency? The witness oath? Chaplains in the military?

I am pretty sure that this was referring to the Pledge of Alligance and not the U.S. Constitution. Either way, those judges need to be replaced.

I suppose the Court will also ban the Declaration of Independence and Gettysburg Address.

I don't think the judges should get paid until they overturn this ruling. After all, "In God We Trust" violates their ruling.

The Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary Online has the following entry for "blessing"
1.a. the act or words of one who blesses b.:APPROVAL, ENCOURAGEMENT
2: a thing conducive to happiness or welfare
3: a grace said at a meal
The context of the word within the Constitution leans toward the second definition. Let's agree on the term before we start discussing it.

From our constitution (Article VII, Last paragraph)
Done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven and of the Independence of the United States of America the Twelfth In witness whereof We have hereunto subscribed our Names,
What about this reference to Jesus?
To: rth_sr
Not to mention that Article VII of the Constitution states that ratification was "done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year OF OUR LORD one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven . . . ". Is that unconstitutional too? They'll probably use that to say the whole thing was never properly ratified! And I can only wonder what that G. Washington fellah said after he signed it! Let's hope he didn't mention God again or we're really done for!

Did the order also include an injunction compelling God to immediately withdraw his hand of protection over the U.S.A., which protection had been improperly asked for by the signers of the Declaration of Independence when they executed that document "with a firm Reliance on the Protection of divine Providence"?

Some people couldn't spot sarcasm or reductio ad absurdum if their life depended on it.
However, it can be very effective with the majority who can, and the ones who can't often make interesting responses.
So, keep it up.

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals declares the US Constituion unconstitutional because...A more realistic scenario would have this declaration made by the United Nations and/or the World Trade Organization.
